A list of puns related to "Liquid oxygen (supplement)"
If a human is submerged fully in liquid oxygen, can he breath? (Assume he doesnβt die of the cold temperatures)
What drywall and temp shift plates to use in space?
How long does it usually take to make the liquid? It's a complicated setup and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Using John's video/setup.

So after a few polar orbits and experiment flights, I now have a set of engines I like. I made a 4 stage rocket with around 15k deltaV, which according to maneuver planning would have gotten me to moon orbit. The final stage, runs on kerosene and liquid oxygen (S1.5400/RD-58 Series). The fuel is held in a cryogenic-framed modular tank.
However, the liquid oxygen boils off completely very shortly after leaving low Earth orbit. I thought a cryo tank would be enough to stop it for a short mission like the Moon? I just need it to survive one week without boiloff, is it really that hard? Any way to fix this?
What improvements would you guys try in order for the Starship to hit the 4% mark Elon was talking about?

##Armenia imported liquid oxygen stations to increase production to meet COVID demand / "clean room" for scientific research
The demand has never been this high, said the director of Physics Institute (National Science Laboratory) Ani Aprahamyan. On July 13 we learned that the NSL planned to import cryogenic equipment to produce liquid oxygen.
Ani Aprahamyan in July: the NSL was producing oxygen to the best of its abilities. Last year, at one point, we were supplying 95% of oxygen in Yerevan hospitals. The issue is with the center being 65 years old. Things would break often.
Our U.S.-based diasporan doctors and orgs helped modernize the station. It should work another 50 years. The new center will launch its operations on August 13 and will supply oxygen to all of Armenia.
We had to import the liquid oxygen from Georgia during the war. The new station will make us more self-sufficient. Besides that, the quality of the new oxygen is much better. It's good enough for scientific use. //
Aprahamian gave an update during an interview today. "The demand for oxygen has never been this high." Several facilities produce oxygen today.
Aprahamian: as of last December, NSL was producing 48% of Armenia's liquid oxygen. Other stations can also produce the gas. Hospitals produce 35-100L/hour. Ours produces 2,600L/day.
Liquid production is the most efficient with its high density, if you have the gasificator to turn it into gas. Last week the demand was 4x our production; we try to utilize the old station whenever possible so we hired new operators.
The new oxygen station was purchased recently from a Russian company Gleimash (?). They sent experts to retrain our workers.
Healthcare Ministry recently contacted us and wanted to take over the distribution process. Previously, hospitals would contact us directly for oxygen and pick it up. Now we give it to Ministry so they can distribute it where necessary.
This liquid oxygen and its gas can also be used for scientific purposes because it's 99.9% pure. You can use it in chemistry, the army, etc. Non-pure oxygen is sufficient for healthcare only. //
##Armenia is working on a Cleanroom lab / Ability to produce materials to help soldiers hide from enemy drones

tl;dr - liquid oxygen is used in water treatment but they're not getting their deliveries because the oxygen needs to go to the hospitals to keep all y'all from dying of COVID and no drivers are working because all of them got it. Your water might taste different for awhile until we all stop dying. This change starts tomorrow.
Similar situations are also happening in Orlando and Winter Park.
so i recently acquired a bit of that fancy insulation material, and decided to rebuild part of my lox line with this in order to avoid it vaporizing from sitting still in the pipes for too long
well, i built normal pipes because they were 4x cheaper than insulated pipes and i thought theyd work the same because, since insulation material has 0 heat conductivity anyway, no heat transfer would occur
however, imagine my surprise when i saw that the lox heated up and vaporized moments after entering the newly rebuilt section, which is pretty counter intuitive... shouldnt there be 0 heat transfer between the liquid and the pipe itself due to the material used?
why are insulated pipes made of a crappy material any better in reducing the amount of temperature change of the piped liquid compared to normal pipes made of an ideal insulator material? how does any of this work anyway?
TL pick Haven; OXG pick Breeze; Split remains
Haven: 1-13
Breeze: 3-13

Iβve maxed out all the planets I can discover with an oxylite/petroleum rocket design and didnβt find any fullerene. I canβt go any further to find some. What are my options? I believe I can try to make liquid oxygen without super coolant. Are there any good videos on how to do this without too much hassle?
