This sub's reaction to a couple good games in a row against bad defenses heavily reminds me of those days.
Haven’t had a 300 yard passer in a regulation since 2014. Pretty pathetic in today’s nfl and to consider that Tyrod needed overtime to do that.

On another thread I was commenting about Kyle Orton's quality of play for the Bills last year, so I looked up some comparably performing QBs, and the results actually surprised me, so I figured I'd post them here.
Let's play player A, player B. Which one of the following players do you think is Kyle Orton?
A: 58% completion, 5.5 YPA, 3.5% TD and 2.0% Int
B: 56% completion, 6.7 YPA, 3.4% TD and 4.3% Int
C: 59% completion, 6.7 YPA, 3.3% TD and 4.2% Int
The answer is that none of them are Kyle Orton. These are statistics from Derek Carr, Josh McCown, and the last 16 starts of Matt Cassel, who I pulled because he is expected to replace Orton this year. I initially looked at these guys because I think if we were trying to pick Orton's peer group, this is the quality of player I would expect him to be with.
Instead, look at this group instead, and pick out Orton
A: 60% completion, 7.1 YPA, 3.7% TD and 2.0% Int
B: 64% completion, 6.8 YPA, 4.0% TD and 2.2% Int
C: 65% completion, 7.0 YPA, 3.9% TD and 1.3% Int
A is Matthew Stafford, B is Kyle Orton, and C is Alex Smith. These guys are pretty clearly peers. That really surprised me, and I feel like whenever I hear people talk about the Bills there tends to be a perception they had a dumpster fire at QB last year. That was really far from the case.
Anyways, thought it was interesting so figured I'd share
