A list of puns related to "Kamo (Bolshevik)"
TWs: war crimes, biological warfare, torture, rape, human vivisection.
This is merely a small bit of information-interpretation and link-up coming from reading various materials for a paper I am writing - it is nothing detailed, I wouldnβt call it an analysis, but a mere curiosity, which who knows - knowing the JJK fandom it might have been pointed out already. Please be aware of the topics briefly discussed here I am merely bringing up in educative fashion.
With that out of the way the thesis is that Kamo Noritoshi (ε θζ²ε«) was to a certain degree created and inspired by the historical figure of ShirΕ Ishii (η³δΊει), surgeon general in charge of the Army Epidemic Prevention Research Laboratory (AEPRL), a research unit part of the Unit 731 - a biological warfare research group which undertook various lethal human experimentation between 1933-1945. With ultra-nationalistic urges in the age of expansionist ambition, shortly after graduation from the Medical Department of Kyoto Imperial University, Ishii began his military training and became a Surgeon First Lieutenant in less than 6 months. To pursue research in biological warfare he traveled numerous western countries before returning to Japan and finally engaging in his projects with the establishment of Unit 731 in Manchuria.
Unit 731 was also referred to as the Kamo Unit most likely due to Ishii having been born in Chiyoda Village, Chiba Prefecture, which belonged to the so-called βKamo Areaβ at that time - not a mind-tripping detail but is, regardless, a curiosity. From its beginning Unit 731 conducted various inhumane and unethical human experiments for the benefit of Japanβs biochemical warfare - a huge number of Chinese, Russians, and Koreans were subjected to these experiments (and only to name a few without going in detail regarding testimonies and confessions - conducting live vivisection on prisoners, injection and infection experiments with anthrax or glandes bacteria, frostbite experiments, poison gas experiments). Inside prisoners were referred to as βmarutaβ, which means logs in Japanese. Estimations regarding total number of victims is uncertain but from experiments conducted within the confinements of the research quarters those are estimated at around 3000, yet even that is a rather low estimate.
JJK-related, we know from the source materials that Kamo Noritoshiβs figure is a taboo topic within the Jujutsu community - th
... keep reading on reddit β‘The Zenin clan even had another superior CT which is projection sorcery. And the demons with heavenly restrictions (Toji and Maki) who wouldn't have an issue dealing with Blood Manipulation. Other elite Zenin had some good CTs but they could be handled by Choso however (not Noritoshi the student though unless he somehow levels up to Choso's level in the future).
Blood Manipulation is pretty cool don't get me wrong. Actually one of the most fun battles in the manga included Choso and also Noritoshi vs Megumi was pretty fun in the anime. Choso is one of my fave characters (actually top 5) and I also really like Noritoshi (in my top 15 if not top 10 perhaps). However, Blood Manipulation's potential seems quite limited (especially with humans). Choso is probably the greatest blood manipulation user ever because he is a part curse and part human which means he doesn't run out of blood. Human Kamo clan members were always at risk of losing blood in theory (unless they had something else to deal with this major drawback of their CT). So far, we don't really know what made them a major clan. Gojo clan hasn't been explored much as well but at least we know what made them very important and threatening.
That said, maybe Choso hasn't revealed the peak limit of blood manipulation yet. Or maybe Gege doesn't care much about the Kamo clan to involve them in the plot lol. It seems like that so far. Not really exploring the Kamo clan yet is a bit disappointing I must say but it's clear why is that. The spotlight on Gojo clan and Zenin clan must have been due to the main cast having Gojo, Megumi and Maki. Much more relevant characters than Kamo (the student) and Choso.
Still, it would be great to give some spotlight to Kamo Notorishi (the student) and introduce more back story on his clan. Or maybe even let him get trained by Choso.
Also, now that Todo lost his technique and served his purpose in the story to a great degree, it would be great to have another representative of the Kyoto school that takes Todo's role in doing major help to the main cast. That person should be Noritoshi Kamo IMO. He is their 2nd strongest student, very smart and interesting and maybe eventually becomes their strongest student with more growth. Noritoshi and Megumi have great potential to work well together (just like Todo and Yuji).
Can anyone tell me if they think Noritoshi will become more prominent in the current culling games arc?
He was my favorite character when I began watching the anime early last year. His fight against Megumi is what cemented my interest in this series.
Since that Kyoto Goodwill arc, we have got close to nothing from him. He has been totally eclipsed by Choso (who I also like) in the blood cursed energy department.
So yeah, aside Yuta, Ryomen, Choso and Maki, Noritoshi is my guy. I would really like Gege Akutami not to forget about him.
Ordered from KamoFitness during their animal print launch, pieces arrived, didnβt love them so I returned them immediately. They received my return on 12/03.
Their website states 5-7 days for the return to process. They are now telling me due to their order volumes, they arenβt processing returns currently because shipping orders is their priority, they will be back to their normal time tables in 2 weeks and processing returns.
So basically I will have had to wait a month IF they process my return right after the holiday. I previously had a return with them and didnβt get the refund until I followed up on it. Their customer support is responsive, but they really should disclose if the returns are taking longer than the promise on their website. I bought with my debit card so I canβt really dispute the transaction.
So if you buy from Kamo, make sure you donβt need to return because you will have to babysit it.
I'm interested in learning about spaceflight mission planning, so have been running some details through based on something I just learned about.
The Kamo`oalewa asteroid may be a left over piece from the formation of the moon. It's in a solar orbit that crosses Earth's. https://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/tools/sbdb_lookup.html#/?sstr=Kamo%60oalewa
I ran it via Nasa's trajectory finder: https://trajbrowser.arc.nasa.gov/traj_browser.php?maxMag=25&maxOCC=4&chk_target_list=on&target_list=469219&mission_class=roundtrip&mission_type=rendezvous&LD1=2021&LD2=2030&maxDT=2.0&DTunit=yrs&maxDV=10&min=DV&wdw_width=-1&submit=Search#a_load_results
So looking at a shorter mission: https://imgur.com/a/aHlkUtw
Nov 25 2025 departure, arrive at the asteroid on June 23 2026, stay 20 days, leave on July 13 2026 and arrive back at earth on Nov 25 2026. Total DeltaV 6.28km/s, Elon was saying a fully fuelled Starship in orbit would have a DeltaV capability of 6.9km/s.
So am I right in suggesting that theoretically all things working the way we expect, Starship could do a manned mission to this asteroid in 2025/6 taking 365 days?
I think that if it is possible and meets targeted costs, Starship could be a real gamechanger for space science.
Would Starship(assuming it meets targets) do such a mission cheaper than a robotic probe?
Jujutsu Kaisen Gege Akutami SHUEISHA
Japanese commentary on the original comic, this time with a character analysis. I picked up Kamo Noritoshi from Kyoto School.
You're thinking "Who?" It's a shame you don't know! Please take a look. Might become your favoriteβ
I know this might sound like a weird one but we know kenjaku was using kamo's body at some point
but when was the switch made ? Was he already an evil sorcerer before ? When they talk about ''Noritoshi Kamo, the most evil sorcerer to have ever walked the earth'' are we still talking about Kenjaku or nah ? I mean Kenjaku would still need a reason to want his body over someone else's, maybe the Kamo bloodline was enough to pick his interest ?
Naravno, postujuci sve epidemioloske mjere. Koji advent posjetiti u RH osim Zagreba i gdje otici u EU na advent (mogu i prijedlozi za Austriju ako ukinu lockdown)?
If such a move were to happen and Udo to Nizhny Novgorod followed, we would have at least 1 Armenian NT player in 4 different clubs fighting to avoid relegation (these two + Khorik at Rostov and Davidyan at Khimki), which is a good gamble with the next RPL season in mind.
Bare in mind, today Ural thrashed Rostov away 1-4 in Nor Nakhichevan, Khorik played the whole game and got a yellow card ffs.
During the Russian revolution there was an anarchist uprising in Ukraine where 7 million people lived along libertarian socialist principles, and then the Bolsheviks betrayed them, and took over their territory.
From what I've read it seems like true worker and peasant ownership was a reality there, or at the least close to happening. They had already gotten rid of money in some places!
Doesn't it show the idea of seizing the state is not only unnecessary to achieve socialism, but that allowing the state to exist is counter revolutionary to our goals, since it was then used by "socialists" to crush actual efforts for liberation of working people.
