I decided to ruin my evening (lol) and rewatch the rivals two reunion. What I’m gonna say might be controversial but it’s my opinion!

I was kind of angry with the way CT talked to Jonny. You could tell that Jonny was not prepared and he was awkward but it was a live reunion so it’s not like you can expect him to be perfect. I think he’s a great host for reunions that aren’t live, and he did what he had to do with his resources. I think CT could’ve been a little bit more respectful and told him that he didn’t feel comfortable answering the questions instead of making Jonny look like an idiot when he should have an expectation that he might get asked a few awkward questions. I know it’s live and CT was likely flustered but he should’ve taken the time to assess and not be a dick to the host who is trying to make the live reunion work. It might also give him time to think of better questions and not get defensive.

I’m not saying that it was right of Jonny to ask the questions but he PROBABLY just asked what people wanted to hear. They were both in the wrong in the scenario but I think that CT could’ve been more respectful, let Diem talk, and taken the questions with a grain of salt. Overall, pretty horrid reunion.

Was watching the Rivals II reunion and he was kind of a dick with the way he was chirping Cara and the whole CT/Diem situation. Anyone else feel that way?

Apparently, Moseley saw this film and asked his dad to go to Squaw Valley to learn tricks. I like that it came out when he was about 10 and features several nude scenes, including some full frontal, but eh.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

So decided to watch the earliest season on Paramount Plus, which turned out to be Gauntlet 2. I had never watched this season before, so decided to share my thoughts with my fellow redditors. Spoilers of the season below.

•The captains twist: Kind of janky. I mean at least when the team won they got prizes, but it sucks that the same people kept going in over and over again. I wish they would’ve gotten to pick captains before each challenge or done a new challenge sporadically every few rounds to make new captains.

• Everybody Hates Beth: Does she kick puppies? Was it just because she sometimes stirred the pot? It felt like she could breathe and someone would accuse her of trying to steal all the air lol.

• Jo: Idk anything about Jo but that meltdown and exit was iconic, but I also hope she is doing ok. I could not tell if I was watching someone ham it up for the cameras, or if I was watching a meltdown…or both.

• Jodi: OK MISS JODI. I feel like her reputation is that she was a strong but kind of boring competitor, but she was in the thick of a lot of romantic drama this season. Mark, Adam and Alton? I respect her as a player and I respect her as a PLAYER. Good for her.

• Mark/Robin/Jodi drama: I’m sorry but WHAT?? So Mark and Jodi dated for like 3 weeks, but apparently he said he loved Jodi so Jodi said it back? And then they broke up? And now Mark and Robin are hooking up but not an item because they TOTALLY aren’t looking for anything serious right now? But then it also gets kind of serious because they’re star crossed lovers? I really do miss the middle school drama that this show used to provide us with lol.

• Derrick: Speaking of people I think are good competitors but kind of boring, who was THIS Derrick? In his later seasons (which are the ones I’m most familiar of him) he was kind of just the sidekick to JEK. Then in Dirty 30 he was a good competitor who got hit by Nelson, and on All-Stars he’s just kind of been auditioning for a slot on the main show. THIS Derrick was exciting. He had heart, he had drama, he had athleticism. His run in the Gauntlet was crazy and it was so sad when he came just short. Also he has not aged a DAY. I guess that’s a benefit of looking older when you’re young, your age eventually matches your appearance.

• Kina: Speaking of drama...I LOVED what Kina brought this season. I’ve never seen either Battle of the Sexes and don’t remember much about her from The Duel, but she was a

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
