A list of puns related to "Jo Callis"
Rewatching season 9 and the scene where Jo is trying to flirt with Callie in episode 3 is 1) hilarious and 2) Kind of really hot but I guess thatโs mostly Callie
Yet theyโre (arguably) all much more iconic and beloved characters.
Am I the only one, who loved the dynamic between Callie and Jo. They had such a fun dynamic, and played of eachother well. Callie was so exicted to finally have someone to mentor, and Jo was exicted to learn from Callie. Jo showed a lot of talent and potential in Ortho, and she could have shined, if the show would have continued to let Callie teach Jo. But there wasn't a lot of focus on Jo in ortho. There was more focus on their relationship dramas, than this mentorship. They both suffered from bad writing in season 12, and maybe if Callie had been written better in season 12, then maybe Sara wouldn't have left. Instead of the show focusing on Callie in a relationship with Penny, then we could have been shown more of her mentoring Jo. Now, I love the friendship that Jo has gotten with Meredith, but Jo and Callie were a missed opertunity.
Enjoy these standalones and new series coming in 2022!
I would have loved if Callie and Mark got married. The friendship they had was superior and itโs one of the best friendships on the show in my opinion.
I definitely hated her when she told Amelia Stephanie was lying about having sickle cell. I think she was jealous that Stephanie had a mentor and she didnโt. I still believe Stephanie was a way better doctor than her.
These are just my opinions pls donโt be rude

Tina alleges that on the morning of February 13th, a few men in a car showed up in her driveway to pick up her daughter (MA). The car was described as being white (possibly an Accord) with temporary paper plates. The group was on the way to the Monon High Bridge area. She had a bad feeling about the situation so she took photos of the car and wrote down the license plate number. She was later told that the plates were stolen.

Now that Grey's has been renewed for another season...time to analyze all the seasons before. Here's mine:
Season 18: haven't watched it yet except for the Addison clips LOL
Season 16: straight up a mess - you have the whole Meredith insurance trial, Catherine buying Pac-North, Alex LEAVING with only letters, and Richard/cobalt hip (not to mention Teddy cheating). So much character assassination in this season and straight up found it boring/not enjoyable. Bright moments include Amelink/pregnancy and introducing Hayes.
Season 13: unmemorable at best. I didn't hate Minnick but the storyline was just dragged on for too long and I hated everyone being against April. The Riggs/Mer/Maggie triangle was so annoying too (but I actually liked Riggs), and I HATE the way they handled Alex and DeLuca. Exciting finale though and glad Edwards got a good send-off. The only bright spot of this season is probably the Montana episode and maybe where Arizona Jo and Bailey go to prison to help the girl with her baby.
Season 12: "ugh the custody battle" is my first thought here. We have Penny, Callie leaving, Meredith and Amelia fighting, Amelia and Owen drama and Catherine/Japril drama. I honestly can't remember any bright spots in this season.
Season 15: nothing memorable - introduction of Nico and Link who were the most boring replacements for April and Arizona leaving. Plus the return of Teddy/too much baby drama, and Meredith and DeLuca (not to mention Jackson and Maggie ugh) - bright moments of the season, maybe Amelia FINALLY ending things with Owen and meeting Link, Amelia and her sisters/mom episode, Alex as chief, return of Tom.
Season 10: we have Cristina leaving :(( don't hate it and some good moments for sure. Just think the Meredith Cristina fight dragged on for a while which is a shame. I wish they broke up Callie and Arizona in this season itself because they were clearly doomed - only bright spot is probably Jackson and April running away, that was epic.
Season 17: I didn't mind this season, thought they dealt with handling COVID/BLM well. Just didn't like that Meredith was barely alive half of the season and that the show came across as so preachy at times - earlier season Grey's was great at handling and addressing social issues in a more subtle way.
Season 11: I don't love this season but it definitely had some good moments. Amelia and Maggie were way more tolerable here, it's ju
Everyone in station 19 is a family. Itโs an actual family. Itโs what Greyโs had with MAGIC, and through seasons 6-8 because ALL of the cast interacted with ALL of the cast.
Now, we have people interacting with the same 2 people always, and even then these interactions seem dull and off.
Remember in Season 11? Meredith, Callie, Alex, and Maggie having lunch bitching about Herman and Arizona? That was so fun. They all got along so well. It was so good for us.
Now we have Jo bitching about her life to either Schmidt or Baby Luna. Meredith has interacted with the same three people since COVID and has more conversations on FaceTime than real life.
Hayes is like the ONLY one that has talked to EVERYONE recently.
We havenโt even seen Meredith talk to Winston, her sisterโs husband, not even ONCE. Meredith and Jo has been abandoned. Meredith and even Maggie havenโt interacted in a LONG time.
They have reduced Linkโs character to a โI LOVE AMELIA. I WILL TELL AMELIA I LOVE HER BUT WHY WONT SHE MARRY ME. WHYโ character that only talks to Jo.
Like WHAT is happening. I didnโt realize it was THIS bad until I finished Station 19.
If they ever get Cristina to return, I promise you she will say hi to Meredith and randomly become Helmโs person. Thatโs the same what the fuck energy the show has been giving off energy.
I love IZZIE STEVENS
Donโt get me wrong, there are moments where she gets on my nerves. An example would be the whole George and Callie thing. I was so mad when she was treating Callie like shit because Callie didnโt deserve that. I felt like that was so unnecessary and dumb and I was yelling at her through the tv screen when she slept with George. But I still love her. I donโt understand why she gets so much hate when other characters that people seem to love have done things just as bad or worse. Sheโll always be one of my favorite characters on Greys. She definitely has her bad moments but she also has good moments. Sheโs a complex character.
I also love Izzex. I do think they could have planned Alexโs exist differently but I do like that theyโre together again. I feel like Izzie and Meredith really did contribute to Alex becoming a better person and Alex did think Izzie was his one true love ( he was talking to Meredith about it while laying in the grass after talking about jo) Also itโs so unfair that shonda kinda ruined her character during her last season.
Jo in Ortho. She was never really a super great surgeon to me, but I feel like she had a knack for Ortho. I still don't understand why the writers didn't stick with her there. Would have been great for Jo and we would have seen Callie as a mentor.
Meredith becoming a Neurosurgeon. This whole "She wants to step out of her mothers shadow" would have worked better if she had chosen a different path. Her trying to surpass her mom is way too predictable.
Amelia should have stayed in L.A. I feel like guest appearances would have been enough. She is being tossed from one relationship she can't handle to the next. Total waste of screentime.
Tom should have never left. The whole Minnesota story, at least the professional part, would have been perfect for his career. I know he is involved, but I really want him there full time. He wouldn't waste more screentime than the others who are still there.
Shane feeling guilty about how Heather died. The writers built up a lot on that, but then he suddenly hopped on Cristina's flight and that was the end of that. Really wish that story had some kind of an ending.
The whole Pac North situation. It was something new for Alex, Richard and Owen. Theyโd been pampered by being good doctors at a hospital that had everything and now they had to put their skills to the test to see how good theyโd be in a hospital that has nothing. It wouldโve been interesting to see how it turned out had Alex stayed and Catherine didnโt buy it out and sell it.
The black hole disappearance of Dr. Sydney Heron. She went from contention for Chief Resident to just gone. I really liked her and wish she would have been there longer.
Jacksons nightmares after the shooting. If I remember correctly this topic was easily dropped which was a shame.

The All Out Buy-In begins at 7:00 PM Eastern, and will be streaming for free on AEWโs YouTube, in addition to being a free pre-show on the services you can order the PPV from. It will feature one match, and some promos for the pay-per-view.
All Out begins at 8:00 PM Eastern, and will be available on Fite.tv (for US fans as well!), and also in the US on Bleacher Reportโs new app (the old Bleacher Report Live app is no more), as well as cable and satellite services.
The Countdown to All Out special, is a 35 minute video that recaps most of the storylines for this PPV and is definitely worth watching. Some of it will also be played during the Buy-In. Seriously, you can watch that and more or less be caught up on what you need to know, and not have to read the rest of this.
Likewise, a panel at the All Out Fan Fest had several of the wrestlers competing in All Out interviewed about the upcoming PPV.
You also can see my guides to the past few weeks of AEW programming here:
He never got to fully see anyone he mentored make it in the neuro field. TWO of his mentees died ( Lexi and heather brooks ), and his only other mentee was Meredith who had to leave neuro for the good of their marriage.
Also I would have loved to see Callie get a real mentor relationship. I wish jo would have gone to ortho. We got to see mark, Owen, Christina, Burke, teddy, Amelia, and Christina mentor but never Callie.
Lexie: Another plane seat (preferbly not in the back)
Arizona: a leg
Derek: A head CT
Cristina: Her Shoe
Callie: A spouse who does not cheat
Jo: Her Car
I've been thinking about how when a character is written to be a long-term love interest for a main character, no matter how much development they get, the emotional narrative is never from their point of view - not that we don't see their emotions, but that the story is really about the emotions of their partner and how that affects the narrative. The characters I'm mainly thinking of are Derek, Owen, and Arizona, although perhaps there are others. Please note this is not an apology post for them - however, it is a lament on how the writers shoehorned them into a position where they were bound to be less likeable.
There are two things that bother me about this phenomenon:
This actually really bothers me. I know it's a TV show, but I don't like being told what to think, and also I like how multi-faceted the way the show portrays things, but I honestly think in these relationships this impact is lessened by

Even if I donโt like him I consider him an OG like I did with Jackson, April, Arizona, Callie etc. Iโm sick of seeing the old characters leave or die. They canโt seem to get the actors to want to stay. Iโm not even invested in the new characters, I just care about schmitt . It feels like Ellen doesnโt even want to do it anymore. ABC needs to let the show go.
I loved this episode and itโs one of the best Iโve seen in years. If Owen doesnโt die I will be surprised. Donโt like him but donโt want him hurt either. I also hope they bring April back to the surgery on him If he needs it.
I hope link doesnโt go to jo because obviously Amelia doesnโt have romantic feeling for him. Itโll feel like jo is second best and after Alex/Izzie I donโt want that for her.
schmitt doing what he did was a lot to watch. I hope he doesnโt let this ruin his career. I feel like Taryn shined in this episode and I want to see what happens next with her involvement.
I get bad vibes from baileys new admirer/student. Heโs got nerve and I think heโs going to cross a line. Kinda hope Ben beats him up even if itโs ooc.
Recently I posted a poll on controversial subjects, because I wanted to start some discussion on past controversial matters regarding the Bateses and wanted some imput as to what people considered to be controversial when it comes to this particular family. So I now present to you the first topic of discussion and the winner of the poll - the "Patriotic Room".
So let's go back in time, back to when 18 Kids & Counting (as it was known then) was still on the air, and the Bates family were living in a house that was a fraction of the size it is now...
Years ago, the Bates family's home didn't look the way it does now. In fact, it was a 1,700 square-foot house that Gil, Kelly Jo (who was pregnant) and their 17 children were living in. It was small and cramped, and some of the boys slept upstairs in an attic that was not insulated, so you could imagine what that felt like when the weather was scorching hot or freezing cold. So courtesy of the Duggar and Wilson families, they gave Kelly Jo a Mother's Day gift of a household addition of her choosing. I think if I remember she said that she wanted a bigger laundry room. But what started as a bigger laundry room, wound up being 2900 square feet added to their home, making it the house that they live in now. The expansion was featured in more than one episode of 18 Kids & Counting ("Duggars and Bates Reloaded" , "Do It Yourself Duggars" , "Duggars on a Deadline" , "Duggars and Bates Reunion", and "Designing Duggars").
At the time, the Bateses also had their own website (gilbatesfamily.com), where they would post updates on their family, and they made some posts about the work being done on their home.

... keep reading on reddit โกI understand they were trying to thirdhand re-create the Callie/Mark, then Callie/Derek dynamic, but Callie becoming friends with Owen post-divorce (S11/S12) was insufferable to me. Pairing someone whose marriage fell apart after one of the most brutal instances of cheating on the show with someone else who is a serial cheater? Like even if Callie didn't know about all that, poor tonal choice lol. Also, love you Callie, but that was too much "convinced I'm right" for one room.
Also, Steph/Jo lol. I honestly didn't mind them when it was the whole gang in S9 with Ross/Murphy/Brooks, their unlikeableness was entertaining, but Jo didn't have an edge and once the other three left, it felt like Steph/Jo's friendship devolved from "relatively less awful ones" to constant petty bickering and undercutting, all the while pretending like they were BFFs when they clearly hated each other. At least they never pretended to like Murphy/Ross haha.
What are yours?!
I'm pretty sure the title makes no sense at all but I couldn't think of a better way to word it so I'll just give examples.
They always say the patient that dies due to the doctor's mistake will always be a reminder to never make that mistake again so for example:
April forgot to check that patients throat and the woman died because of the smoke inhalation.
Derek felt responsible for killing that pregnant woman and almost had a break down in the OR. He kept wanting to take more and more of her brain out and ultimately felt so responsible he almost quit.
Alex gave the wrong dose of some medicine who had a pituitary tumour (I think) that kept making him think he needed to drink a lot of water but his wrong dose essentially dehydrated his brain (I think) and became brain dead.
Bailey felt responsible writing repeat prescription for antibiotics to that rabbi that caused TEN or another example, she felt responsible for those 3 patients that died due to the faulty gloves.
Shane pretty much caused Heather's death and Alex's dads death.
Lexie mistakingly took out a tumour that caused the patient to not be able to speak. (I guess you can kind of blame Meredith for that as well.)
Callie, although found innocent, might have been the reason that professional snowboarder had both legs amputated.
Jackson didn't put a screw in properly in Callie's patient that caused it rip into her heart over and over. I don't think she died though so doesn't really count.
Stephanie had that little boy die on her operating table but I guess you can blame Minnick for that.
Maggie may have been the reason for her cousin dying as she shouldn't have been allowed to operate on her.
Ben had that moment when a code was called so all doors locked and the lift didn't work so he decided to do a C-section on a woman in the hall and I think both mother and baby ended up dying.
Hopefully you guys get the point so if you're able to think of better examples or for the people I'll list.
Addison Arizona Mark Meredith Bailey Jackson Callie Jo Richard
Or just any character you can think of.
Do your worst!

Any favorites? Least favorites? Which adult couples naming style do you like most or least?
McDreamy or McSteamy?
Meredith or Cristina?
Burke or Hunt?
George or Alex?
Izzie or Jo?
Alex or Jackson?
Callie or Arizona?
Webber or Bailey?
McVet or the bomb guy?
Lexie or Addison?

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies ๐
Dunno if this has ever been discussed but there are so many wasted potential friendships on this show. Particularly post-Season 11 it feels like all the friendships are centered AROUND Meredith and Owen somehow which really bugs me and feels cliquey in a sense (ex. writing off April, Arizona, adding back Teddy and Tom just to involve Owen in the circle, adding Hayes just for Meredith). So here are some friendships I would've loved to see:
i forgot how absolutely nuts this episode is. bailey coming off the infection thing. arizona chests on callie. april has that amazing proposal. jo almost kills peckwell and alex is into it all. owen acts insane about this kid getting his dad back, realizes that he wants to be the kids dad, then yang brings him back and owen is pissed. meredith falls down the stairs. brooks and sheppard do a great surgery and finally has chemistry. i always get caught off guard watching this. i miss this from greys. plot twists you just canโt even fathom.
Theyโre on standbi
So Iโm sure weโve all heard of the concept of love languages, if youโre not familiar then Iโm sure a quick Google will explain it. I thought it would be fun to see what we think Greyโs characterโs love languages would be!
The 5 main languages are words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, quality time, and physical touch.
A few of my own thoughts:
What does everyone else think?
Pilot on me!!
I compiled a list of GA friendships. I came up with 50ish friendships Would y'all add or delete any these friendships, Lmk.
