Around 6 in the evening on 1989 February 28, in Miyakoji village Tamura district, Japan, a 23-year-old elementary school teacher just ended her day. It was winter and the weather was piercingly cold. Other than some minor scratches on the elbow and knee, there was no noticeable trauma and signs of homicide. Police concluded and closed the case as an accidental death, which is Naoyuki Kanno was trying to peep women and died from hypothermia.

If I wanted to watch others have romance I would read a regular romance novel or watch a romance movie. Of course I understand that choice is up to the developers and their preference, but it does make me much less likely to purchase an otome game if the protagonist is onscreen. I just wish there would be an option to turn her sprite off like in Japanese otome because this feature turns me off of a lot of western otome. Of course if the protagonist has a voice I cannot turn off I feel the same way, but typically those can be turned off.
This is a personal preference and I am not insulting games with this feature. I was just wondering if anyone felt the same way. If you prefer the sprite I would love to hear a perspective on why as well.
