A list of puns related to "Israeli land and property laws"
This is an automatic summary, original reduced by 65%.
> Ramallah: Right-wing members of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, have submitted an amended draft law which would allow the Israeli occupation to expropriate privately-owned Palestinian land until a final peace agreement is reached between Israelis and Palestinians.
> "The authority of the seizure of privately owned Palestinian land must be renewed periodically by the Israeli parliament," reads the draft of the law.
> The draft law grants Palestinians compensation for their land and, should the owners of the land refuse such compensation, they would only be allowed to appeal the matter in Israeli courts.
> The occupied West Bank is home to 150 Israeli colonies officially established by the Israeli government, as well as about 100 outposts which colonists established on their own, and later applied to have legalised under Israeli law.
> Colony building on Palestinian land is illegal under international law, which strictly prohibits the establishment of colonies in occupied territories.
> Numerous UN resolutions have clearly stated that the Israeli colonies constitute a violation of international law.

Is there a way to check the ownership records of a plot of land in Kolkata? I have the plot details.
Thanks in advance.
I think my dad watches too much fake news and propaganda against Israel. We are Palestinian, living in the US (I was born & raised here, in 1st generation American) . My dad is telling me that the Arabs living in Israel, that are Israeli citizens, are not allowed to own land or property, or build homes, and that the Arabs are treated like 2nd class citizens.
I told him that is absolutely fake news and he needs to stop listening to his fake propaganda.
So who is right? Are Arab-Israeli citizens allowed to own land and property and build homes in Israel?

Do they differ by parish? Has anyone had a hard time with this kind of transfer? Especially when the land is subdivided.
Where we live, we are very successful in our work, but we still can't afford anything that's not thirty minutes outside of the city, and that's too far for our little family. My in-laws have a house in a very nice part of town, and have offered us a portion of the property to put a modular home down.
They are somewhat neurotic, but by no means terrible people. I have my apprehensions around things like privacy, but when it comes to cost effectiveness, it's the best option for us, as buying a home traditionally would be far too much money and nowhere near town. As well, my wife is temporarily partially disabled most likely for the next couple years (long story, medical neglect), and their presence would be a huge help in this regard.
I'm wondering if anyone has done anything like this, or knows someone who has. Are there any concerns we should be considering? What kind of things would not be so obvious? They can definitely be a little...intrusive, but it's never anything a conversation can't address. Thoughts?
The headlines say it is so 'communities' can force councils to sell 'vacant' public assets, but we all know that private developers will be big beneficiaries. So, I think we should all write to community orgs - farmers' reps, local business unions, etc. - far and wide, telling them of this in advance so they can prepare to launch their own bids. We can't let developers get the drop on us.
