Have to find a sure way to watch the AFC championship game. Suggestions outside network TV?

I don't have network TV but I have lots of streaming, amazon, Netflix, hbo, etc. I've looked up how to stream the upcoming game but its hard to decipher which ones will show the post season games. I moved to Maryland a few years ago and haven't watched much football lately but seeing as the bengals are so close to the superbowl, I MUST watch this next game. Does anyone know a streaming service, or just some service you can pay per game to watch this next game? One that will 100% show it so I don't have to scramble and buy 20 services last second to watch whwn its already started.

Remakes of international TV shows shouldn’t be allowed unless the original has been aired on a leading network in that country

British TV shows often get remade and butchered. The comedy doesn’t play for British jokes when converted to an American production. The number of pointless remakes I think we can all agree is endless, but I don’t think you should even be allowed to make a newer version til the overseas version has done a complete run on a leading network. β€œWhat’s the point in remaking it then?” Exactly - if you don’t have a solid reason to remake it, then don’t. Truly convince me as an audience member why I should attempt an American remake when I either loved or hated the original international version.

The British version of Ghosts was wildly better but a lot will only watch the poorly done US remake. Call Me Kat is absolute garbage whereas it’s original UK concept Miranda is side splittingly funny.

Sure we have a rare successes like The Office and Shameless but I still think the original versions should’ve been aired fully on mainstream/leading TV. The Office worked cause it really did decide to completely reimagine the characters and it understood it wasn’t trying to remake the exact jokes of its original.

Serialized animated shows. Why does Disney channel not like them? Why are they unpopular with networks in general? Why do they prefer episodic? An explanation of why seralized tv is declining on cable.

Recently you may be aware that Disney channel is phasing out story driven shows in favor of episodic comedies aimed at young children with future orginal DTVA serialized shows made for Disney plus . This follows in the footsteps of Cartoon Network who has recently abandoned YA seralized shows in favor of kid focused comedies. You may be saying β€œhey kids deserve seralized shows too. They are not dumb” and the truth is they do. And they are getting seralized shows(like Hilda and Green eggs and Ham) but on streaming services like Netflix and Disney plus. however it’s not simply β€œkids don’t like serialized” or β€œwe don’t like shows like amphibia or TOH”. It’s a lot more complicated than this and it’s based off of many basic issues that have been for the longest time. In order to fully understand we need to look at why and look at notable examples

  1. Seralized shows get low rerun ratings.

Serialized programming in general has a major problem in terms of rerun ratings. The main reason for this is that once a person is done watching the first part of the story they will not tune in to the rerun of the episode. While shows like TOH do have rewatch ability this type of rewatch rarely happens on cable. People can’t just tune in to the episode randomly. It’s programmed and you can’t rewatch a show on cable once it’s over(keep in mind not everyone has DVRs). This also creates lower ratings from new viewers who might be tuned in who are confused at what is happening. This is called β€œcontinuity lockout” and new viewers of the reruns are more likely to simply tune away. This is evident in the poor rerun ratings of TOH and Star Trek discovery. Throughout the decades every serialized show has had a near consistent history of getting low to poor cable ratings in reruns. Even in premieres on cable they tend to be getting lower ratings in comparison to episodic shows. These types of shows are hard to join midway through for adults and older viewers to keep up with these shows. let alone young children who have a harder time keeping up with seralized storytelling on cable. According to Scott Collins of the LA Times. "serialized storytelling ... though popular with hard-core fans and many critics, requires more dedication from viewers and has almost certainly tamped down ratings for many shows". This is evident in not only the fact that reruns of serialized shows do poorly but the shows that are doing consistently well are episodic. Similarly ATLA was viewed b
