A list of puns related to "International Standard Classification of Occupations"
It's booming. Tech is going insane. Valuations over valuations, money's flowing.
But the reality is, there's nothing for the user. No respect, no consent, no respect of data, no choice. The reason most of the tech is able to exist & grow is because of 0 ethics.
Now for all those 'gyaniis' who're gonna argue about the conditions & data abuse in other countries or Facebook doesn't really delete your data with account deletion, no, I'm not asking for your opinion.
I'm talking about at least the surface level of things, even just making the user feel that they at least have a choice to change their number or email or details or delete the account.
How much of India's thriving tech would really exist or survive or grow if they were to comply with the basic international standards of handing user data & respect & consent since it's a hindrance in every way of growing, building & running a company?
Last Week CoinDesk announced the launch of something called Digital Assets Classification Standards or ( DACS ). It covers the top 500 cryptocurrencies by market cap, there are currently 15,765 different cryptocurrencies as of Friday morning. The goal is to give investors a sense of where a coin fits in the cryptoverse things like, " what are its peers" and" What are its main competitors ". Are just a few I can think of.
As more and more Financial institutions that measure themselves against benchmarks are turning to BTC and other cryptocurrencies i guess something like this makes sense and was probably inevitable i think and can only be good for cryptocurrencies in my humble opinion.
They have 6 sectors identified and they are broken down in the DACS as currency 52%,smart contract platforms 37.09%, DeF 3.85%, entertainment 2.79%,computing 2.46% and Digitalization.
Two examples I could find of what the DACS is a foundation for is the Coin Desk DeFi index which will have 10 Defi Coins and the CoinDesk large cap index of 8 cryptocurrencies that make up at least 70 % of the market cap of all cryptocurrencies combined.
