I'm playing a Medieval/Fantasy modpack and part way through realized getting food is too easy. So I was wondering if there's any mods that increase the amount of personality work necessary for farming. I know about Seeds please but Idk how much extra work that actually adds.
My understanding is that livestock animals synthesize Cobalamin (Vit B12) only when their diet and the environment they live in are good sources of cobalt and when they are exposed to bacteria (especially the ones found in the soil).
Given the fact that almost the totality of meat comes from intensive livestock farming, where animals are generally closed in cemented spaces with little to no grass and dirt in it, combined with a large use of over-sanitizing practices, antibiotics and pesticides, how can we be sure that these animals synthesize a good amount of Methyl-Cobalamin?
Also, I could not find any info on regulations (for EU or Italy) in relation to livestock animals, cobalt and Cobalamin; not even studies that compare vitamin B12 content in grass-fed and conventional meat that hasn't been supplemented B12.
Currently there are two intensive Rabbit meat (fur) farm applications being processed, one in Buckinghamshire and one in Rutland. If you sign the petition and most importantly write an objection it could saves thousands of rabbits being slaughtered miserably and exploited - like we need any more.
These farms are basically fur farms which are illegal in the UK but are being disguised as meat farms, this is a loophole in which they can get away with this. 250 Does will be exploited as breeding machines producing 10,000 rabbits a year, that live 12 weeks of misery before being slaughtered.
It will only take 5 minutes and will help a lot.

-Threat to local wildlife via disease, myxomatosis and RVHD 1/2 could spread into wild or into the farm, wiping out the entire farm - Threat to predators, fox's and similar will most likely be shot to keep them away
-Attracts rats and mice
-Noise/traffic in the local area
-Smell
-Intrusion into countryside

These capital intensive industries will require skilled labor thus farming technical schools must also be established in coordination with these companies to teach Sudanese students how the modern world's agricultural system works. The trickle down effect of these agricultural giants to local Sudanese farmers and their expansion of knowledge will most likely push them to continue the pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

These foreign agricultural groups will introduce a new type of farming method, predominately in aquaculture. The construction and utilization of aquacultures on the Nile River and the Red Sea will greatly expand the scope of our livestock base. Given surging demand for seafood across the globe, the introduction of this type of food will greatly expand our marketable abilities.
Asides from this the introduction of unconventional animals handled by foreigners, namely pork, will further expand our presence in the meat market even if it is haram. Pork will largely be exported to our non-Muslim markets for consumption.
