A list of puns related to "Illusion (company)"
Am I naΓ―ve to be a little depressed by this? I know many other industries have roles and entire departments that simply check a box while contributing little to nothing to an organization or society as a whole.
For example, I've seen "Spicy Crust Pizzeria" mentioned a few times, including a tale where an agent was getting orders from the delivery boy. Is that an actual chain of pizza shops owned and operated by the Foundation, or do they just have a few cars and uniforms for when they need them?
I've done 3 internships so far, and about to join Facebook this winter. Would it be a good idea to remove my first internship (a local tech startup without name recognition) to make it look like I got to Facebook faster than other students?
Or would that hurt me since it will look like I have done fewer past internships? Aiming for Jane Street / Citadel btw.

I understand that at some point operational costs come into play but wouldn't they automatically quote a price much more or decently greater than it?
So are they agreeing with chapos now? Go and find out.
I'm interviewing a several companies, but only one offers unlimited time off. I've been wondering how, in reality, does this work... Do folks with unlimited time off truly use it to its fullest extent? Or are the rumours true; you'll end up with roughly the same amount of time off per year as those jobs that don't offer unlimited time off?
(I'm in Canada, if that helps)

Now ask yourself why else would CEO Zach George and Alcanna management delay the merger vote?

Before I get into this post I want to affirm a few things. Workers rights and the exercising of those rights should always be supported, strikes are an effective tactic and this post is aimed at the folks who are always "organizing", proclaiming and making graphic posters for general strikes. The inspiration for this post comes from tweets like this and the previously "planned" October 15th general strike.
The short war illusion comes about when the leaders of an army refuse to consider any possibilities other then a total, outright, decisive and immediate victory for there side. This can happen for a number of reasons, nationalistic pride, a refusal to consider defeat, misunderstandings / ignorance of history and so on. Now we can look back and see some great examples of this illusion at work, The big hits are the first world war with everyone being "home for Christmas", The French, German and Japanese plans in world war two. Even more recently the invasion's of Iraq and Afghanistan. When we refuse to consider all possible outcomes, question are own plans, learn from history and let some form of ideological or nationalistic dogma run the show it tends to always turn into a muddy quagmire that ends up worse then we ever thought. And right now I see the same mistakes being made when it comes to the supposed general strike that someone or other online is saying is always about to happen.
So with that tweet its claimed that a 9 day general strike would result in "we could demand anything we wanted". Lets go through a few facts of the matter.

I am so tired of people saying that x company stylist should be fired for giving an idol a ββhorribleββ outfit but when you got the fancam/picture is literally just a dress that doesnβt accentuate their tiny waist and make their hips wider like check ???
The female body being a trend that changed every years is already a problem that many have spoken up about before, it just annoys how β β³β is considered more a compliment that a fact.
Some people do have this body because it literally depends on your bones and you cant change that but the ones that donβt, need to look up youtube videos telling them to use this specific clothing so that they will look like an hourglass. Same goes for kpop idols, as if videos analyzing their body and weight loss/gain arenβt bad enough they need to hear these 13 yo telling them βyou stylists is terrible because they doesnβt make you look like the beauty standard πβ
It is very obvious when someone is genuinely judging a fit or just saying βthat would look better if she was skinnierβ / βwhy is it so tight π₯Ί you can clearly see how she got no curvesβ
One thing I find really irritating is the complete lack of transparency and trickery with benefits.
All these companies offer benefits. But often they wonβt start for a year or the rules around receiving them are so complex they hide the fact theyβre often about half what they say they are.
For example, The 401k match is doled out weekly and doesnβt start for a year, so itβs two years before anything significant might show up in your account. Sometimes the match is a a divide between a pay roll match and a yearly profit sharing add on. In the offer the 401k match will be described as β7%.β You think βGreat!β Maybe they describe it truthfully but you have months invested in getting the job and donβt want to back down over the lack of true 401k match.
But for most people, they find out after orientation itβs 4% after a year and 3% of profit sharing doled out once a year and you arenβt fully vested in the profit sharing portion for another 5 years. Ohβ¦and since you were hired in April after profit sharing in March, you arenβt eligible for profit until March two years out because you have to be with us a full year before you get anything. So it will be 1 year, 11 months before youβre eligible for profit sharing match in your 401k. And did we mentionβ¦the profit sharing match in your 401k vests over five years. So the 3% we put in after one year , 11 months wonβt be yours for 6 years, 11 months. The 3% we contributed in year two of eligibility wonβt be fully vested until 7 years,11 months and so on. At some point you will have to leave your job so itβs 100% guaranteed even if you stayed at your job 20 years, they could screw you out of the last five years of the profit sharing match they put in your 401k. You can never be fully vested.
Oh and by the way, the plan is shitty and the firm administrator takes 2% and I allow it because they wine and dine me every year so we take some of that 4% match back. If you contribute your money before getting a match after being with us a year, we are actually taking your money for the 2% admin fee.
Always with the fucking games! So sick and tired of company benefits being illusory! Then they have the gall to actually turn around and blame the average American for only having $120k in retirement accounts at 65.
Since youβre more or less obliged to jump jobs every two years to climb the career ladder, you could go your whole life with never getting a match youβre vested in.
401ks should be mandatory. Matches

I was wondering whether you guys think some ships are created by a group's company and why?
I've watched a lot of variety shows like Amigo TV and IDOL-LIVE, as well as some other shows and I notice that, usually, two idols that are shipped together end up having a lot of screen time together. And I feel like that, in turn, causes the audience (fans) to further propagate shipping.
I can't help but think--because these groups have screenwriters/directors--a lot of what the idols are made to do are for content.
In short, I feel like some ships are just fake and an act.
After seeing a clip of the Abridged Series I felt nostalgic and went on ahead to re-watch Yu Gi Oh! Duel Monsters. In an episode on the Duelist Kingdom (episode 35) the sub in the episode tells that the winner of the tournament will win 60 percent of Industrial Illusions' shares [along with the title "King of Games" and a great fortune(money)]. Since Yugi won, doesn't that make him like the "President" of that company? What happened? Please enlighten me
