Hi everyone,
I know a lot of iRacers (including me) have asked iRacing over the past few years, about setting up a championship that combines the iRacing Special Events / IMSA endurance special events.
A team of admins and I have decided to no longer wait on iRacing but take things into our own hands. And that's why we created a new league called VSCA. I just wanted to invite you, in case you're interested.
---
Established in 2021, the Virtual SportsCar Association (VSCA) was created to provide club-level competition to the amateur to semi-pro level sim racer with the support of strong regulations and highly experienced organization.
The league's premier series is the VSCA SportsCar Championship, which is designed to emulate the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship as closely as possible, based on cars, classes, schedule and regulations.
As one of the rare exceptions among privately run sim racing leagues, VSCA runs all its series championships on calendar-year based schedules. Many iRacers have been looking to have the iRacing special events together in a year-round championship, so that scoring points finally means something. Many others also have always been looking for a true IMSA-based year-round championship series. The VSCA SportsCar Championship delivers all of this.
Our philosophy is focused on the maximum amount of realism possible through the simulation and the league's rules and regulations, in combination with a well-balanced level of competition and an atmosphere that is non-toxic and welcoming to all those who are friendly on- and off-track and respectful towards others.
VSCA is planning to establish itself as one of the premier private sim racing leagues for the average amateur and semi-pro sim racer and for those teams that share the vision of club-level racing.
The league also plans to continuously provide and expand news coverage about its events, drivers and teams, including race reports and news articles on VSCAracing.com, social media content and live broadcasts to attract partners and sponsors.
SCHEDULE
The series includes three championships. The overall SportsCar Championship (all 8 races), Endurance Cup (4 endurance races: Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta) and th
... keep reading on reddit β‘I'm new to this race and I'm not sure how to handle fuel, Now I just leave the default and then refuel the same amount in the pitstop, but I'm not even sure if it's not possible to go full and not do the pitstop? Is it required? What is a good strategy?
So I've been driving in the Ferrari GT3 challenge for a bit now and I finally have a C licence and I'm wondering which series would be best out of the two. I'm sitting at about 1500 irating after a good week in the Ferrari if that helps at all.
I'm just not sure which to commit to tbh as both seem like pretty good series, so what are the advantages/disadvantages of the two?
This will be my first proper series after dabbling in the BMW 12.0 challenge and the MX5s. Iβm going with the Audi R8 LMS as I love driving the GT3s in ACC.
In terms of the series itself - does anyone have any tips or tricks for making it a smooth transition from the D tier tournaments?

Can someone please tell me where the thread is for the race this afternoon. I am not able to find the links without the generous help of whoever posts it.
I'm looking into getting into sportscars (previously only drove Skippy and oval) and when I look through the current series for the amg gt3, the IMSA Sportscar Championship is the only non endurance series that shows up. Does that mean that it'll only give me mpr for C class or if I level up my license will it change to B class? Before anyone says it, I'm not focused on upping my license only, I'm just curious.
