A list of puns related to "History of Sardinia"
Any way to get around this? These are the last two baronies I need to form Outremer.
So, I live in Sardinia, a medium sized island at the centre if Mediterranean Sea. Sardinia is an Italian territory, but it's more than 600 kilometres from the mainland. Also in Sardinia there are lots of problems with politics, sanity, infrastructures, etc. These problem is very common in Italy too. So Ask Me Anything about my Island or Italy and I'll answer as better as I can. AMA
So I wanted to do a run where I conquered the Roman empire as Haestinn of Retz's line. My first move was to conquer Sardinia and create the Kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica. My friend, who got me into this game, suggested I wait to make my move until I have 10K gold. Makes sense.
I spend years raiding and looting and saving money. My second generation, Ragnarr, becomes a hero in the Wolf Warriors and dies in Byzantine during the Legend event. But not until after winning two Holy Wars against Italy and France for Sardinia and Brittany.
My third generation lives a grand total of two weeks before Death showed up at my door. By this point, I had JUST gotten 10K gold.
Now I'm playing as a nine year old Ragnarr II. I have 1/4 the troops that I had before thanks to Gavelkind Succession. The Empire of Francia is looming over me and has done so since Ragnarr I. I'm about to convert to either Orthodoxy or Catholocism depending on which way I feel gives me the best advantage to conquer the Roman Empire for myself. I get to think about it for two days. Suddenly...
King of France: THIS IS WAR.
Catholics in Brittany: THIS IS A REVOLT.
King of Italy: THIS IS WAR.
Now I gotta start over and ponder what on earth I did wrong because my choices either boil down to spend all my money fighting three wars and be back at square one or lose this game because I have almost no land and if I split my mercs I can't win either war because they have allies across the entirety of Francia.
