Title is pretty self-explanatory, I really enjoy rock songs that start with a nice heavy bass riff to build into the action. Some examples:

The genre of rock doesn't really matter, so long as it has the bass riff intro. I love the suspense it provides before you get to the intensity of the chorus. Would love to see some recommendations, thanks in advance!
If anyone recalls seeing the first trailer for X-Men Apocalypse back in late 2015, there was a symphony remix of the song and I was never able to find it outside of the trailer. Anyone know about this version? Does a full track exist? Richard, you in here??
At 30, I lucked into a career as a 90's alt rock dj. Luckily, the stations I worked for considered hip hop and rap to be alternative. Also, because I have a mental health illness, this period of time is super special to me.
And the music led me towards what would later keep me afloat...
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - A man aiming at an alleged shoplifter shot an employee at a Phoenix business Saturday morning, police said. It happened in the area of 32nd Street and Indian School Road at about 9:15 a.m.
According to Sgt. Mercedes Fortune of the Phoenix Police Department, the man who was wounded was trying to stop a shoplifter. Both he and the shoplifting suspect ran outside. Fortune said a third person saw what was happening and pulled their gun.
“The person fired at the shoplifter and missed the shoplifter, however the victim (employee) was struck by the gunfire,” Fortune said. The employee’s injuries reportedly were not life-threatening.
Although both the shooter and the wounded employee stayed at the scene to speak with the police, the shoplifting suspect was nowhere to be found by the time officers got there. Investigators have not identified anybody involved in the incident.
