A list of puns related to "Health insurance coverage in the United States"
Donald Trump's interview on 'Face the Nation' this past weekend indicates that the President wants pre-existing conditions covered in the GOP's replacement for Obamacare. However, this is a stark contrast to the proposed changes to the AHCA in order to bring the Freedom Caucus on board.
What does the President's departure on this issue affect the AHCA's future in Congress? And what is the GOP's overall position on the future of healthcare in the United States? Is it more in line with Donald Trump, the Tuesday group or the Freedom Caucus?
Just enrolling for health insurance for 2020 in the Marketplace, and not only is my premium increasing by $50 a month, my deductible is also increasing from $1,850 to $4,500. Plus, other than preventative care doctor's visits, it doesn't cover anything until my deductible is met. So basically, I'm paying hundreds of dollars a month for the privilege of going bankrupt if I should need to go to the ER for any accident or unforeseen trauma. Healthcare needs a major overhaul. A developed, first world country should have a better system in place!
I can understand why it may be in place for anyone with a dependent as they dont want to encourage the parent/guardian to ignore health problema and risks of a dependent just so the guardian can avoid extra expenses, but what is the rationale for an single adult?
What are the benefits of this person having their own health insurance?
I understand people will likely bring up things like private companies/kickbacks etc, but im trying to understand the actual rationale behind this type of system.
People are already dealing with overwhelming costs and avoidance of medical help in a system that requires health care. What difference would it make it health insurance was not a requirement? Which actions is this preventing/detering? How far has the current US system strayed from the original intent, and would that original intent be a feasible. idea (functionally, not morally/preference)
Introduced: Sponsor: Sen. Bill Cassidy [R-LA]
This bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Finance which will consider it before sending it to the Senate floor for consideration.
2 cosponsors are on that committee.
I know i'm going to get downvoted but I wanna know.
Most often I am away from home working on projects 11 months out of the year. Each time I move to a new project in the past, 3 states is the most, I've had to change my address to the new temporary apartment to ensure I have coverage. This time I didn't and when looking for a physician I'm told they have no one in that state and they will not cover any of my costs, even though I pay every month whereas my family still live in our state of residence. This is bullshit.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks
