Thank you for reading & watching -- have a great weekend!!
18 year old Colin W. Gillis was last seen in Tupper Lake, New York on March 11, 2012. He was a recent graduate of Tupper Lake High School, and was studying pre-medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Brockport. At the time of his disappearance he was back home in Tupper Lake for spring break. On the night he vanished, Gillis left his parent's home at around 5:45p.m. to attend a small party at a private residence located Paskugameh Road. His parents noted nothing out of the ordinary with Gillis; his dad saying *βPatty and I had just had dinner with him, he was pumped up about seeing his friends and joking about how this was the 2012 reunion. It was normal for him to go out and see friends. We were laughing and having a good time, like we always do with Colinβ*. Unfortunately for his parents, this would be the last time they ever saw their son.
According to New York State Police Investigator Jeremy Viele, the party broke up at around 1:30 a.m. and Gillis departed on foot. It is worth noting that, according to *Charley Project*, Gillis left the party because he got into an altercation with some other guests at the party. However, other news articles make no mention of this and state that he left due to the party ending.
After walking away from the party and heading down Paskugameh Road Gillis came to the intersection of Paskugameh and State Route 3. The route he would need to take in order to get home would require him to turn right onto Route 3 but instead it appears the Gillis went left and continued in the southbound opposite of the direction he needed to go. A passing motorist saw him at 1:45 a.m., still walking southbound on the edge of State Route 3 near the Franklin/St. Lawrence County line, towards the town of Piercefield. The motorist who spotted him was concerned due to the fact that Colin was walking without a jacket in below freezing temps (despite the fact the backpack he was wearing contained a L.L. Bean coat) and was oddly flailing his arms around. As a result of this sighting, the motorist drove a few miles to a police station to report what he'd seen.
The police arrived at the spot where Colin was last seen only 10 minutes later according to *Footprints At The River's Edge*, however the *New York Times* says it was between 30-60 minutes. Either way, officers continued driving up and down Route 3 for several miles without sighting Colin. The police called off the initial search since the call wasn't in regards to Coli
... keep reading on reddit β‘The core of my belief is that the gods and goddesses are all aspects of one whole and all of these individual parts compose not only the entirety of the material and spiritual universe but also the entirety of yourself and your being. I think that the most important part of building a relationship and understanding of the divine is to recognize the divinity within yourself, which is both inside and outside of you.
My message for the holiday and new year is for all of us to recognize the divinity within ourselves which will benefit us in working with the gods and goddesses and most importantly the people in our lives. I know it sounds corny, but the greatest gift the divine gave us is life itself and the opportunity to experience it in all of itβs forms.
Best of luck to all of you!
