So a couple co-workers were talking about some random actor and were looking at him in IMDB. Of course the only dad in the conversation dropped this:

Co-worker: "It says here he played Hamlin in How I Met Your Mother."

Me: "Who the hell was Hamlin?"

Dad-Joker: "He was kind of like Turkeylin, only he was Hamlin."

After watching the luge event where Erin Hamlin won bronze for America

Host: it was a big night for luger Erin Hamlin winning the first medal ever for America

Me: that's not nice calling her a luger for coming in 3rd place

Girlfriend: facepalm
