I cant get google to answer what seems to be a simple question.
when it passes our earth every 75 years or so, for how long is it visible without telescopes.
is it an hour? a day? week?
I already know its every 75 years. i know the next one is in 2061, but for how long will i be bale to see it in the sky.

I mentioned seeing Halley's comet in 1997 in elementary school, in the school parking lot, with special glasses, to a group of friends talking about astronomy. One friend said that was quite impossible because it last happened in the 80s and showed me the last date for it listed online. I assumed that I just misremembered as I was a kid, and maybe it was an eclipse or something else instead. However today, I saw someone else writing about seeing Halley's comet in 1997 in an unrelated thread.
(I'm a skeptic, and so I do realize there could be a more reasonable explanation, but as there are apparently at least 2 or us, I wanted to ask about this. Thanks)

I've thought about this game from time to time, and I always thought the name was "Halley's Comet" - but I saw some details about that game, and it clearly is different.
The short version is that you're in a spaceship of some sort tracking down clues around the solar system. I remember the game consisting of flying to an object like a comet or moon and getting a clue for the next stop. Something like "this is the largest moon in the solar system and is believed to have a dense atmosphere" and then you'd travel to Titan.
Game play was probably cockpit based, and definitely first person, with the entire solar system "on a plane" (you could move forward, back, left, right, but I don't think there was any up/down). I think their might have been a contest about the game, but I don't recall. I do remember feeling like it was important to finish the game quickly.
As far as I can remember, there was no combat, just exploration.
