As a veteran and huge fan of this series of golf games, I simply can’t believe the mess that 2k has managed in less than a year’s game life. A game that is mostly based on swing/controller stick mechanics is all about muscle memory and hours of practice. You simply should NOT run this many major updates every month or two!! You actually had nice mechanics that were working since previous versions of the game. Why then? The last one was simply INFAMOUS. While I understand and share the opinion that splash shots needed to be nerfed (way too easy, no penalty when landing on a green side bunker) and that the red fast shot was being misused by some top players, you can’t kill the whole mechanics and destroy the players’ previous work and learning curves. Above all, it is the inconsistency of the swing what is killing me. All these years at the game, I could more or less knew when a shot was not being perfect, the swing was so good linked to the stick movement, that you could simply feel it. Now I can hit perfect shots and get a red, not-so-good shots and manage to keep it straight... No clue at all! I am recalibrating every day or two, not using anything at all, the game mechanics are BROKEN. Stop selling stupid hats and NBA shirts to us and bring us our nice golf game back! I was always a big advocate for these games and were recommending them to every friend. Now, I just wish EA to come back with a new Tiger Woods game and cause 2k to lose this market.
Hi everyone! I finished up HB Studio's Acting 1 level with Michael Beckett and I am now eligible to take level 2 classes, but I am unsure what my next steps should be.
I could do Acting 2 or Scene Study 2 with Michael again, or with Jackson Moran or David Deblinger.
I've seen Michael lauded on this forum before, but I'm not sure if continuing with him would make more sense than going for a different approach within the same school.
I wanted to do courses in The Barrow Group too but I'm not in the US and the exchange rate is killing me haha

HB Studios There will not be any crossplay, but courses designed by our community can be shared across all platforms. Users will be able to import their courses from The Golf Club 2019 and edit them with the new tools and assets available before publishing them in PGA TOUR 2K21.

HB Studios No, the concept of Club Sets have been removed from the game. There will be more information as we approach launch about the depth of control each user will have over the way the game will play for them. Online play matchmaking will ensure that all players are using the same settings.

HB Studios All apparel items are cosmetic-only. The clubs you choose to assign to your Golf Bag will have an effect on course and we will go into more details for how this will work in the coming weeks.

r/PGA_Tour_2K In the Q & A we previously had, you touched upon new tools that Society Managers will have at their disposal. Can you give me some details about these tools?
HB Studios: The event creation flow has been updated to be easier to use. This should give event creators in societies an easier time setting up new tournaments.
Online society events can now use different tees per round, in addition to different pins. This was a common request from societies that run longer events.
The all-new difficulty settings can be restricted by society managers. A default set can be chosen for all upcoming events, but overrides for specific events may be set as well. Or the society manager can leave the restrictions wide-open to encourage more players to join.
r/PGA_Tour_2K Is there any resolution to having tournaments/games (whether in career mode, societies or online matchmaking) not end in a tie/draw?
HB Studios: No. In career mode, the player breaks ties for first, but in all other cases, there are still draws.
r/PGA_Tour_2K How many courses will be in the rotation for Online Matchmaking? Will courses be rotated in and replace come courses that have been in the rotation for a while?
HB Studios: Currently all 15 licensed courses are in rotation for matchmaking—the front and back nines of each.
We have the ability to add and remove courses from matchmaking at will, including player-created courses.
r/PGA_Tour_2K We know that apparel items are cosmetic only. We assume that different club heads, grips, shafts will give some bonuses to your overall attributes. Can you explain more about how these attributes actually work?
HB Studios: Each golf club—except for putters—has a set of attributes that affect its performance and the accuracy requirements of the player’s swing with that club. Everything is what we call ‘horizontally balanced’. One club is not inherently better than the next; they’re just different and may suit different playstyles. For example: One driver may hit farther than another, but requires the player to have better timing and accuracy. A certain type of wedge may be easier to hit straight but have less control when shaping a shot.
The shafts and grips you equip to your clubs remain cosmetic. Only the base clubs have attributes.

Hello!
HB Studios has a golf game called "The Golf Club 2019" with a trophy called "Official Participant". In order to get the trophy, you have to play an event that was created by HB Studios twice. For people who haven't played the game, they basically just need to create a public match that people can join to get their score whenever. It's the equivalent of setting up a quick 1 vs 1 lobby on Call of Duty. They have not done so since September. I have tried to contact them on twitter and on their website for three weeks, only to hear nothing back from them at all. They don't seem to give a shit about their consumers, seeing how I can't even get a response. It would be understandable if the game had been out for 5+ years, but that is definitely not the case. I'm hoping this post gets some love so that I can get send this link to them to show them that this is not acceptable. It is a FIVE MINUTE fix, there is no reason why this cannot be done! If they do not respond or just create a frickin event, I will not be supporting any of their games in the future.

Also I understand that most of you don't care about a golf game, but it's about the principle. I have a couple of trophies left on this, but stopped playing as soon as I found out that I can not get this trophy. I'm sure you could understand how frustrating it would be to have 1 trophy remaining, and you can't get it because the creators are being extremely lazy.

I’ve never taken an acting class before. I planned on signing up for a random one in NYC but Mr. Rona hit, so I took the time to research and narrowed it to these two.
Just bought the game after being a tiger/Rory PGA guy and it’s been amazing. I notice a few annoying things like private matchmaking with friends can be tedious. Are there game updates and patches semi regularly?
