A list of puns related to "Greatest Hits (Tom Petty album)"

Grey linings on black clouds on a starry dark sky that night a carpet above. From the perspective of a cross section of a cloud form with the Earth at my feet, this was how I felt it. The distant stars above the foggy layer pricked the dark sky. Below the layer of fog was the city and the city's lights, which borrowed a luminescent quality from the hidden stars above. Floating eyes and a brain camera'd the scene into my life.
Then another scene of an alleyway behind a local theatre. Dumpsters and garbage stood still on the floors quietly and unmolested that night stuck in space. ( I had a vision of cigarettes beer and salvia on the ground or in the dumpster, plastic cups and styrofoam of noodles and bread.) Beyond the alleyway, an opening and a parking lot still and all the same, cars parked and the clubs nearby had lights coming from them, orange and red flickering from flames and strobing gels, but not a soul in sight, indentations on trendy furniture to show an invisible body that once or still was there. A noiseless scene to be sure, and a mystery not to be uncovered for the reason that nobody existed to turn it over. I was faceless and blind and it only was a dream inside the walls of my skull, and that alone, and I was ready to jump, into a pool of water, and come out a different one, to finally see a rosier and more romantic place, and a deeper emotional depth in a place of such blandness.
A point of view of falling through the air from the bridge, not in reality but in a dream, and falling into dirty brown water, a week's wait and a simple loan to buy a gun from flourescent floors of a large department store for my body and the bullet of a gun to fly through a fluid of air or brains and finally crashing into a new world and shedding past skin into another world and another place in time and another bizarre offshoot spinoff. Was this Better Call Saul, the painful slow burn that doesn't seem to conclude, and a short drip, small wars lacking the catharsis, the true stakes and caring and passion of the past, a deeper character study to dig into something else, did I accomplish my goals that I tenuously had in the first place, which i wasnt even trying to accomplish, i gave myself a pat on the back for waking up and i doubt i'd get much further.
I have a lot of recurring patterns in my writing or so I feel, I think I am the only pe
