Something In The Air Puns

So. There have been five fights today. All before we got to third period.

I wonder what the rest of the day will be like. I just hope no one starts throwing hands in my classroom.

It feels like it’s working. It feels like Yang is sticking the landing. It feels like it’s all coming together.

To be clear, I'm not trying to imply rifts are useless for us Warlocks who like to float in the air and shoot things. Sometimes you have to touch the dirty floor, which is sometimes a good time to put rift down.
But personally I already hate how much standing around shooting things there is in this game where it's so fun to run and jump around. So an Exotic (i.e. not something that changes rifts for the entire class or even for any specific subclasses) that lets me choose to do something else with that rift energy I rarely use when I get too into running and jumping around would be awesome :D
 

Something like: you can pop a rift while in-air. You're suspend in air while popping, being in the radius of your rift effect increases glide time and slows your descent, and you can make an extra jump once while in your rift.
Or even: you can pop your rift in mid-air and it becomes a mid-air disc you can stand on.
You could have a Valkyrie exotic and chuck your rifts down for allies.
Ikora even mentions in the Vesper of Radius tab that you can draw rift circles in different ways to get different effects. So maybe you can choose to have your rift launch you into the air when you cast it?
Or a rift you can pop in the air that trades empowering/healing for fixing your in-air accuracy while you're floating in its radius?
Most of these would need to have shorter rift times (probably half the current time length if it lets you chill in the air with buffs).

Even if it was something finnicky and hard to use well, since it's an Exotic (and therefore voluntary) it would be awesome to have more options for really varying your playstyle if you commit to it :)

It’s only Tuesday, and we’ve already had three newcomers and one old-timer in total crisis this week.

A bunch of addicts are suffering every day all over the place, but it just seems really close to home today.

She couldn’t remember how many days it had been but she knew that she had to make a big entrance. So this was her chance. With the help of a group of satyrs Ryan Harris threw together a party to remember with the help of Lexi who knew how to throw a party.

Entering the dining pavilion would be a magical experience and Ryan would make sure of it. Around the entrance were red, white, and pink garlands and hearts hanging down. The tables had been cleared out leaving a large dance area with small tables scattered around for people to sit. Heart shaped red confetti rained down from the ceiling, disappearing a few inches before it hits anything with the help of magic. A bar was on the side for 18+. A stage was on the opposite side of the entrance. A group of Apollo kids were playing upbeat pop songs.

Then the band began playing Silly Love Songs. Ryan was wearing a red dress and made her way across to the microphone as red spotlights danced around the room. Before she began, she said, “Happy Valentine’s day everyone I’m back.”

You can either request a song, listen to the current one or just do your own thing. If you want to interact with Ryan after her set feel free too.

Immediately describe the event and explain its effect. Ask what happened. Help them take responsibility for their actions. Develop a plan to deal with the issues. State how confident you are in their ability. Provide Additional supportive feedback. Present observable effects so they can see what they did and how it affected the group. Focus on actions not attitudes.

I just survived a raid and I’ve got a couple things going on that might be related. On the right side of the screen, there’s a symbol that looks like a diamond with some red under it. Also, when I go outside, there are things seemingly floating up and down in the air. They’re not fast, but that have some kind of ranged attack. What’s going on?

(I did try to look it up first, but I have no idea what they’re called)

I tried ignoring the sensation in my ear but finally I couldn’t take it, I opened my eyes and realized that my physical hands weren’t actually in the air at all like they felt like they were and nothing was in my ear.. (Would also like to mention that I felt it was difficult to breathe) Was I close to successfully projecting? I appreciate your answers in advance! :)

People were just nuts yesterday, had one woman bitch me out because I wouldn't let her smoke in the car (it's illegal here and I wouldn't have let her anyway), a pedestrian ran in front of me, taxi cab ran a stoplight in front of me, another random car almost hit me head on when they turned left in front of me on a "green ball" light, two near pukers, and some guys I picked up at 3 PM from the local Eagles club were already drunk off their ass and spent the whole ride threatening to beat up and/or kill each other, and some other jack ass managed to sneak in an open Smirnoff Ice can and leave it in the back seat.

What the title said, my dog was watching me one time i think that's why he doesn't love me :(
