A list of puns related to "Grand Theft Auto"
By the title you might understand the whole story but here goes. EM- Entitled Mother, DS- Demonic Spawn. Me- Guess who?
I still play GTA San Andreas. I was around 6 when I my father bought me the game (I'm 17 M). So to be honest, I have really kept the game very safe because now it's a part of my emotions. I grew up playing it, and I'm sure some of y'all did too. So one day DS comes around to my house and conversation goes like this. DS- Hey I want to play games on my computer. Me- OK, go to so-and-so site and download it from there. DS- No, I want the game you have.(GTA San Andreas) Me- But I still play the game. I have it since I was of your age. I will not give it to you. DS- (Crying) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GIVE ME I AM ALSO A FAN OF GTA SERIES PLEASE GIVE ME! Me- See, no means no. Now, DS burst into quintillions of tears and ran away to his apartment. I thought now he'll stop being a pain in the arse like he was to other kids of the complex, but no. Few minutes later, he brings his cow of a mother and the conversation goes something like this.
EM- Hey, why didn't you give him your copy of the game? Me- Because I still play the game and he's (DS) too young too play it. (Now, I understand that I told y'all I was 6 when my father bought me the game, but I just fooled around in cars and never knew it had missions). EM- Don't tell me about his age and you're too old now to play games. Go and complete your education first.(She then proceeds to try and take the CD but I immediately swipe it into my hands). Me- Excuse me! You can't just come into my house and take my personal belongings! EM- Why? Does that bother you? Me- 0_0 EM- My "angel" needs it and you must give it to him, why are you being so childish and adamant. (She tries to get into my face.) Me- Try to get anymore closer and I'll beat the fuck out of you and that brat. EM-(Is taken aback) What? How can you say something like that to us? Me- How can you come into someone's house and try to take their personal belongings? EM- SHUT UP! AND I'LL REPORT YOU TO THE MANAGEMENT. YOU JUST WAIT!
Basically, nothing happened. No management sent my parents a notice and due to good luck, God's grace or something, they were kicked out of the complex because her kid and she started being an arse to someone. And to those wondering where were my parents. They had gone for a trip. I know fighting over a game is pretty petty, but it's my life to me. The best game in the whole world. I will give to no one,

I don't know if anybody has noticed this before but I have been thinking for several years now that these 2 franchises are oddly similar. Even though they started in very different places, GTA as an action adventure driving and shooting title set in a modern city and TES as a Fantasy RPG with its roots in D&D, they have both converged into being considered the pinnacle of open world games with their enormous detailed worlds and freedom to explore being highlighted as their greatest strengths.
Where the franchises really mirror each other though is in their coinciding commercial and critical success, fan reception, legacy and the priorities of their developers. Both series began in the 1990s with the first entry being released on the MS-DOS to some commercial success and most don't think they have aged that well. Both then released a sequel 2 years later to mostly similar results. The first 2 games in each franchise haven't been played by the majority of fans of either series and usually rank around the bottom of franchise rankings.
Then around the beginning of the 6th generation of consoles both series launched a 3rd title which greatly overhauled the gameplay and did the open ended freeform structure better than ever before, setting the template for the rest of the series. Because of that both franchises found much greater commercial and critical success than their predecessors. If you include Vice City and San Andreas, the 6th generation titles for both GTA and TES are considered by many as still the best in their franchise and among the greatest games of all time.
The 4th numbered title in each franchise launched in the early years of the 7th generation, 4 years after the last entry, and were extremely well reviewed at the time and heralded for their improvement in graphics over predecessors. Over time though both GTA IV and Oblivion have gotten a bit more criticism and are sort of the middle child/black sheep of their franchises that aren't as respected by hardcore fans as the 3rd games but didn't reach the same wide spread success as the 5th games. They definitely still have many fans who appreciate them though and are brought up as underrated.
The 5th numbered titles both were released 5 years after the 4th, around the end of the 7th generation, and received similarly amazing critical reviews but absolutely exploded commercially. Both GTA V and Skyrim are in the Top 20 best selling games of all time and sold 3-5x more copies than any other ga

For example, San Andreas, right off the bat the game plot screams ACAB. Or GTA5 where the major plot line literally involving the gamer in robbing the banks and shooting at Feds. The biggest elephant in the room would be the game mechanism is all about Fuck The Police vibes, shooting, running away from cops and trying to survive that shit. ACAB literally baked into the core of GTA series.
But if you look into the GTA gaming communities those bootlickers, ALM and Blue Lives chuds are basically the basis of the GTA fans. WTF?
