A list of puns related to "Gloria Jean's Coffees"
I don't go into the centre much so have only just noticed this new arrival. Has anyone tried this? I worked in the US in the early 90s and we had Gloria Jean's at work and it seriously made Starbucks taste like the finest artisan hand fondled roast in comparison. It was quite terrible - flavoured coffees that all tasted identical, irrespective of the flavour. How the ever loving fuck did it get established in the UK? Or has it improved since then?
I went with my family to Gloria Jean's. Because of COVID, it was outdoor dining only and there was a single fire pit next to our table, it was inside a metal box with the roof open do you could absorb heat from it and put in wood when it runs out. The waiters kept coming to it and warming themselves near it. My dad called one and asked why he wasn't we wearing winter clothing and his reply was that management only allowed the uniform. It was below 10 degrees Celsius, all of the workers were forced to wear t shirts
:(
Yeah it's a basic req but I cannot seem to replicate it at home and as much as I love it, I don't want to spend $6.10 for it.
All i know is they do the coffee, the ice and the milk but I'm lost on the coffee strength and exact amounts they use. x
I'm after spiked coffees or hot boozy drinks that are coffee-based. I know there's a lot of places that do espresso martinis and the like, but most of them use coffee liquor as opposed to actual espresso. I'm after a drink that is mostly like a latte or espresso, but with some liqueur combinations to make it interesting.
Any ideas?
Im living in the south and i would like to ask my fellow northerners if its original and if its good since we dont have Popeyes in the south and also pretty concerned about those brands and how they operate in the north (also burger king with a different name)
