A list of puns related to "Gerard Butler filmography"
In Greenland, Butler keeps his Scottish accent and doesn't even attempt to try an American one, and his performance is all the better for it. It's basically a meme at this point but he has historically not been great at dropping the accent and trying to sound "American".
In Greenland he really shines as a result. Just a grizzled dude who happens to have a Scottish accent trying to save his family. I'll admit that historically I have been unsure of his talent, but it's clear to me now that he does actually have "the stuff" even if his role selection should limited.

John Krasinski/Emily Blunt were successful in their request for potential lost earnings from A Quiet Place II's shortened window from theaters to streaming just months ago. As were Gal Gadot and Denzel Washington earlier this year. But those deals were with Paramount+ and HBOMax, respectively, but no one's gone after The Mouse until Scarlett.
Will this affect how streaming services deal with working actors and their own content that isn't in premiering in theaters? Maybe starting to offer actors deals that include options more akin to what residuals for TV used to be? Will non-A-Listers in movies premiering in theaters be offered different packages, less/more money upfront? Will SAG have more leverage when dealing with streaming services now?
