A list of puns related to "George Read (Alberta politician)"
Mr. Kenney,
I am writing to you today from the confines of my home, where I have spent the last 10 months holed up with my wife and three young children. During this time, we have learned to adapt in nearly every way imaginable. Educating from home, working from home, no contact with friends, family and colleagues & of course, no vacations. I feel most for my oldest son (7), having to explain to him why he cannot see his friends but even he gets it. It has certainly been challenging; however, we cling to the notion that these actions and sacrifices are for the greater good of us all. The greater good⦠a very Canadian philosophy, or so I thought.
Today I have learned that the following members of your team have chosen to ignore the guidelines and the health and safety of their fellow Canadians to travel abroad this holiday season while the rest of us remain home and alone.

Their actions are utterly despicable but what is most disappointing was your public response on Jan 01st, 2021. Suggesting the guidelines were not clear enough to them and they were in fact helping support the beleaguered airline industry is nothing short of gaslighting on your part. How dare you make people question their own sanity and understanding during a time like this.
I have never thought your efforts during the pandemic were anything special. Along the way you have constantly referenced the economy as being the end all. Mr. Kenney, we do not live in an economy, we live in a society which is made up of many forces, one of which is the economy. You and your members have ignored all other factors to all our collective detriment.
I know there will be no remorse from any of those involved, including yourself. Anyone capable of following through on travel plans made weeks and months in advance then manipulating their own social media accounts to give the impression everyone is at home tells me these people are incapable of remorse. Itβs a sickness Mr. Kenney, one that is only cured by removing the power to infect others. I donβt believe for a moment that they did not understand the guidelines. That is just an outright lie. As I stated earlier, my seven-year-old understands and follows them, but letβs say for a moment that they didnβt have things clear. Letβs pretend t

My friend kept telling me he couldn't believe I hadn't read "Knight to e4" by George Orwell so I made sure to pick up a copy. I don't get what the big deal is. It was terrible, and had nothing to do with chess. Misleading title 0/5
1984 is a gripping, ridiculously ambitious novel with the vast scope and political maneuvering of 1984 and George Orwell's character growth.
Orwells dipiction of a dystopia future under the rule of "Big Brother" from the view of not a revolutionary but an ordinary man made the book feel as if it could happen to you. This depiction led me to believe the story would go one way but went another way, especially in the last 3rd of the book.
The way the whole book was portrayed and detailed, especially the ending of the book made me feel as though it was in an alternate reality or perhaps happened in the past or could happen in the future. I would love to hear what your thoughts on the book were and how you interpreted it.
Found out this morning that I can't post on my MLA's FB page, just share his posts. Anyone else have this happen? Wondering if this is common or an increasing reaction by the current gov.
