Royal gala

I'd been talking with my dad yesterday about the new MacBook, generally making fun of its shortcomings. This morning I got an email from him linking me to this article. Having seen it earlier, I told him "I saw the article this morning! I will continue to not buy anything Apple."

His response: "Yeah, I miss Royal Galas, though."

sigh

We were at the table eating dinner when I glanced at the advertisements for grocery stores. I read the ad wrong and said:

Me: I read that wrong, its gala or pink lady apples, not Lady Gaga apples.

Wife: I dont know about Lady Gaga apples, but I know about Lady Gaga tomatoes.

Me: What?

Wife: Ro-ma, ro-ma-ma.
