A list of puns related to "Futon dryer"
Does anyone have recommendations on futon dryers that you could buy in the United States/online?
Edit: please don't downvote and ignore the situation of being in a rainy area. I've had my futon for half a year already and been taking it outside every weekend.
A few years ago, my father and I built an off grid tiny house on our homestead. We rented it out on AirBnB and it was all booked up in no time. It was going really well and making some decent income for our homestead. In short time it paid for itself. All was going well until we got a call from our city zoning department telling us the tiny house was not in compliance. We could keep it if we went through a bunch of ridiculous hoops like adding on another 200 square feet onto it (kind of defeats the purpose of a tiny house). Zoning and Tiny Homes can vary wildly from state to state.

After a lot of consideration we decided to sell it and move on. During that time we got a call from a woman across the country named Sam. Sam saw our tiny house on AirBnb before we had to pull it down and she liked it, but she wanted something larger and more custom. Sam asked me if we could build her a custom tiny house. I explained that we are not builders and weβve only built one tiny house but she was OK with that. We worked out the details and agreed to design Sam a custom off grid tiny house. It was one heck of a journey and we learned some valuable lesions along the way. We also took 100s of hours of video footage and edited it all down into a short, start to finish tiny house build video you can watch below. Check out, we are really proud with how it turned out.
I custom designed the tiny house to Samβs specifications. She wanted a little front porch and a futon-nook area. She had plans for a custom live edge countertop. Unlike my earlier tiny house this one was going to be outfitted with a washer/dryer combo, cook stove and composting toilet and shower. The entire house was to be powered by three 100 watt solar panels and a battery pack with a backup generator for the large appliances. In short this tiny house would be amazing.

We have just moved to a new house and a leg of our old dresser was snapped off in the move. Stupidly we got rid of it instead of, I dunno, lobbing the other legs off?
Now we are in a position where we need curtains, curtain rods, a dresser, something besides the dining table to put the tv on, and so much more. I am so tired of moving around my organizational baskets (which now function as my dresser, and all that was in them is now chaotically lying around) around my tiny closet.
Most dressers and chest of drawers are just out of my price range. Garage sales and secondhand stores are off the table, husband is afraid we will get pests from them because itβs happened before- we brought home a nightstand with roaches in it and that was a nightmare. Spend enough $$ getting rid of the bastards that it was not even close to worth it.
Please please tell me of your experiences with fabric dressers. Was it irritating to pull them out? Did it feel different from pulling out a normal drawer? Are they way too small? Would it be worth it to save up for a few more paychecks and go another month living in chaos? We have already been there a month and have just managed to buy a futon and washer dryerβ¦ with all we need to buy I am afraid itβs gonna be put off if I save for a fancy one.
TLDR; I need a chest of drawers/dresser but donβt want secondhand. I need the pros and cons and experiences of others who have had fabric dressers in the past to help me decide if it is right for me.
Thanks again, sorry if thereβs typos, Iβm typing this at work on my 6 years old iphone with horrible lag
EDIT: the old dresser is gone, has been for a month. Unfortunately itβs no longer an option.
I guess the concept didn't work
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!

Mathematical puns makes me number
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments

My daughter, Chewbecca, not so much.
We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
