A list of puns related to "Fuel (video game)"
This argument came into my mind recently when I saw a meme not too long ago. When defending their simulated child abuse material, pedophiles might say βIf loli is as inherently morally corrupt as you say, I.e. normalizing pedophila, training people to abuse, etc., than what makes video games different from encouraging violence?β. This is just one of the many fallacious and malicious arguments meant to confuse and annoy us. If you are like many who know that there is a difference, but is not sure why, enjoy below.
After a bit of thinking, I have the answer, which is supported by solid statistics, psychology, and common sense.

People play video games for a variety of reasons like relaxation, playing with friends, simulation, etc. While wanting to play video games is not everyoneβs cup of tea, it isnβt unnatural to desire to play them moderately if the content is good. For example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sold 30 million copies from release by last October, with many purchasers owning actual firearms. MW did not make gun crime increase because most played the game for fun, not to become terrorists. Video games are simply a medium, which is morally neutral depending on the content and, in moderation, a great way to have fun.
However, some people play violent video games to feed violent desires. These people are already mentally ill and itβs not the gameβs fault (unless the game in question is morally evil) that they are abusing the game in order to feed their mentally ill desires instead of using it for its intended purpose.

Anime is also a neutral medium. It, like video games, can be used for good or evil. However, βloli hentaiβ (call it simulated child abuse, because conceding the language to their subversion is conceding the intellectual war) is VERY different. It is in its nature gravely evil. While video games can be used for good purposes like recreation and even education in some settings, loli is used for one purpose: feeding the mental illness known as pedophilia. Keep in mind that when a natural and healthy desire is fulfilled moderately, there is peace, but when mental illness and addiction is fed, the disorder only increases the demand for more. Mental illness must be fought against and people with it should be helped in order to restore their sanity if possible, not to further their sickness and drive them to Hell. And unlike video games which do not train people to use firearms with more skill, lo

I'm not an experienced player at all, only spent a few dozens hours wandering and mining and not having played in a year, therefore I don't recall exactly my ship equipment. I still mix buttons on my X56 and need to remember which one does what, to give you how lost I am after not having played for a long time.
I plan my itinerary and start to jump from star to star and decide to refuel. Unfortunately, I am in an empty system with no trace of life and only have enough fuel to do the next jump marked "Last chance to refuel" on the map. I jump and start to check the interface to spot a platform or station and notice that my fuel is kinda over half the tank now. WTF ? Do I have a fuel scoop that I don't remember I have ? Should I try to scoop again to refuel as the start was marked as "fuel star" ? And so I try to refuel from the star's corona. Probably did that once by accident at the beginning of the game but I give a try and notice that my fuel is starting to lower again but faster than using FSD during jumps. Uh-oh. The refuel isn't triggered at all, I don't have a fuel scoop.
I need to find a station and can only find a hub. It will be enough, i just need fuel so I can continue my interstellar travel. Here it is, mark destination and go Superspeed.
Woo, here it is ! 7 km away, requesting permission to land. Permission granted.
I find the platform #02 and engage my landing manoeuver. DANG, I'm not pointing in the right direction !! I need to rotate 180 degrees and start to slowly rotate, damn it's slow...
And pfuuit. Everyhing goes black. The power is gone, I can only hear my breath. I'm hovering 2m above the landing pad, inclined at 45 degrees as if my manoeuver would continue.
And I'm stuck. Nothing happens. A counter just appeared indicating that my oxygen reserves are now depleting.
Holy crap, I never faced this situation... I start to dig online for indications. Basically I will lose my ship. They talk about self destruction, ejection from the ship... Dang is that even possible ? Usually playing solo and chilling, I'm still a noob after 30ish hours of playing this game.
And what are these Fuel Rats ? Is it a civilization from the game, some kinf of IA ? What does the ED wikia say ?
How do I contact them ? They seem to be real people whose hobby is to rescue other players. Nice. Let's give a try !
Oxygen s
