Okay, so you know there's this scene in the movie Fritz the Cat where some college girls find a black crow, right? They crowd around him like they've never seen a black person before in their lives and ask him patronizing questions involving his ethnicity which ultimately come off as racist. The crow, fed up, responds with something along the lines of, "Who do you think I am, Geraldine?" I have no idea who Geraldine is/was in this context and would love for someone to fill me in. Thanks!
Short Answer: I would watch that so Yea!!!

My cat Fritz had been living with my parents since I moved out from home. This was his home and my lifestyle wouldn't have allowed me to take him and I didn't want to tear him out of his cat paradise. He was happy and healthy (seemingly), always out and about, catching mice and birds, wreaking havoc wherever he went. He was big and fluffy and mischievous - simply perfect. Yesterday, I found out that he died very suddenly last week. My parents didn't tell me at first, because I was away on holidays and they didn't want to ruin it for me.
Some day last week, my parents were home with a visitor. Fritz was begging for food - which he always did. He didn't get anything though. Shortly after, he sat under the table, panting. My parents felt that something was wrong, called an emergency clinic who told them to come straight away. When they got there, he had already passed...
I'm heartbroken beyond words. I love him so, so much and the thought of never being able to dig my nose into his fur around his neck any more or having him sit in front of my bed when I'm visiting, asking if he could join me, in his freakishly high meow and then feeling his vibrant purrs against my legs... I always missed him, he was the only one I couldn't talk to on the phone. But since yesterday, the longing has reached another level.... One that can never be satisfied...
To everyone who's lost a beloved pet - the pain is real, it hurts like hell and maybe, sharing it, takes a little of the edge off... Lots of love to you all
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 86%. (I'm a bot)
> It's probably best we assert this up front: this list is by no means meant to represent 'The 10 Best Films by Fritz Lang'.
> While it's impossible to select a single film of Lang's as representative of such a varied career, the three films that make up his Mabuse trilogy remain landmarks of certain phases.
> Lang would always deny the retrospective political readings afforded the films, but their synonymity with the rise of fascism and the surveillance state remain persuasive.
> Lang's indictments of fascism - and its potential for swift escalation in groupthink mentality - knew no geographical boundaries, with many of his US films offering both local and European socio-political commentary.
> One of the great films of the 1930s, You Only Live Once is one of Lang's most atmospheric works; irrevocably fatalistic and pregnant with despair.
> While there are perhaps, objectively speaking, more significant films by Lang that we ought to have included - we know, The Big Heat! - it's always fun to include an underdog, deserving of further consideration.
