A list of puns related to "Freddie Laker"
As raps are playin Spurs + former spur/rap great debo dominating the league this week... started thinking back to Kawhi/Demar Trade, and the obvious result of it - the greatest NBA champs ever
Started wondering whats our next MEGA trade???
*contract years includes this season
Like Brian Windhorst said previously about Scottie, if Scottie is going to be the man going forward, with our top-heavy roster, Masai will likely have to trade 2 or 3 out of the 4 when Scottie's rookie extension arrives, right?
with very contract-friendly players, even Pascal's these days, will Masai cash in now or wait a season or two longer? We can't pay everyone or can we????!!!??
The way Freddie is playing, his extension or next contract will be max? super-max? OG, Pascal, even GTJ might be asking that much also. The trade value of these four must be insanely high this season...
If OG was playing with Steph, Klay, Dray... = Championship locked?
If Freddie or Pascal was at Chicago, Denver, Cavs or Vancouver Grizzlies?
or GTJ goes to Lakers or Mavs?
I'm sure the money or assets doesn't really work with the above scenarios, but all im saying is trade values are super high, we aint winning this year or next year with the current top 5. I dont think?
What yall think Masai gonna do? and when? Try to rebuild with the younger trio of Scottie, OG + GTJ + whatever we get back from Pascal + Freddie? or try to trade 1 or 2 raps + picks to win before we need to give Scottie the supermax rookie extension? Maybe, Dame + Nukic? Zion lol??
Apologies for the long-ass post - HNY 2022 yall
Introduction
This is part 3 of my series of chronicling rap music of 1981, 1991, 2001 and 2011. Part 1, about 1981 and 1991, can be found here. Part 2, about 2001, here. I’ve noticed some confusion about why I’m doing this, so here’s a short breakdown about me:
2011 Songs of the year
The list of great rap songs is very long. Probably longer than any of the previous decades. There simple were more good rappers from very diverse backgrounds making great music at the same time: both mainstream and underground, from all regions. I’ll provide breakdown by aesthetics, because otherwise the list will become very unwieldy.
Brick Squad
Following Waka Flocka Flame’s classic 2010 Flockaveli, Brick Squad kept shitting out 20+ song mixtape after mixtape in 2011. Save for Waka Flocka & Slim Dunkin’s “Twin Towers 2”, most of those tapes were at best just pretty decent. It’s notable that practically every artist on Brick Squad was able to release a great song as a solo artist in this blessed year:
Song breakdown:
26/30 rankers reporting this week. /R/NBA's Power Rankings are published every two weeks which is a bit different from most rankings. Other than that we rank the teams the same way as our competition. If write ups are left blank the team rep decided not to submit. We are still looking for Lakers and Pelicans reps. See their comment box in the table to apply. We encourage any user to fill in the blanks in the comment section. Rankings were supposed to be completed prior to today's games.
keep reading on reddit ➡I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
FiveThirtyEight has a player projection model they use to decide how good a player might be. Using the rosters listed from each team on ESPN (which may not be completely up-to-date), I wrote down what it had to say about each prospect .

Made all-time hometown rosters with original 30 NBA teams + 25 new teams to split populated areas and big teams (spreadsheet + map)
I used the top 969 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.
Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.
I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.
As I looked at the map of player hometowns, I realized that there were:
Based off city population and arena size, I added 25 new teams.
I started off gathering hometowns due to this fantastic database by Reuben Fischer-Baum ([original article source here](https://deadspin.com/infographics-where-do-pro-basketball-players-come-from-5132615

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
I won't be doing that today!
