Should Four Past Midnight be read in order?
So I am currently working my way through the Castle Rock storyline. I know The Sun Dog, the final novella in the Four Past Midnight collection, takes place in CR. Is it fine to read that one first or are we supposed to read the collection in order?

Four Past Midnight - The Langoliers
Okay so I finished The Langoliers right? My first novella from Stephen King, so I'm stoked.
So are they back in their time? They saw ghosts transition into real figures, though do we know if they actually made it back to their time? Or are they in a different time?
Also I'm so mad about Nick. Him and Laurel would've been such an amazing couple. Imagine Laurel just goes to the man she was supposed to meet, and all she can think about is Nick. I wonder what she did afterwards, hopefully she fulfilled his last will.
What did y'all think about the Langoliers?

Ranking "Four Past Midnight"
I finished Four Past Midnight last night and was curious how everyone else ranked the stories?
I enjoyed every novella, but here is my favorite to least favorite:
- The Langoliers (tightly written, and such an original take on time travel!)
- The Sun Dog (this Castle Rock story made no sense, but I didn't care. I was hooked!)
- The Library Policeman (went from ghost story to monster story...and scarred me for life)
- Secret Window, Secret Garden (masterfully written...but then the epilogue ruined it)
