A list of puns related to "Fireteam"
Bungie could focus on longer, more involved Campaigns if they didnβt have to balance the fact that people have to engage with them 3 times if they have 3 characters.
From a narrative/game perspective just treat it as if my other 2 characters were part of my fireteam while playing the campaign, #but give the option to replay the campaign with any character if you want to do that.
Thereβs really no reason other than dragging out player engagement to make people play the campaigns on each character (if there is a reward for each class, just give the 3 at the end) - and even then, Iβd probably play other characters more if I knew/wasnβt dreading playing the campaign all over again.
#Edit: a lot of people donβt read the actual post. Added BIG bold letters to the parts I keep having to copy/paste reply to people with.
I heard that in GM Nightfalls, your light is capped at 1345. Im 1347 and the fireteam leader kicked me and messaged me saying that my light was too low and that I should be at least 1350 or else I'd get destroyed.
Account sellers, scammers, etc use the Fireteam function from bungie.net to advertise themselves, this has been a problem for too long, and it's time for Bungie to fix this by requiring a Phone Number or something similar in order to create them!
Heya
u/MrAvenue made a post about this, but it's getting not enough attention. So I'll just repost, so a few more people read this.
So far I've played 12 games with zero issues. Please spread the word. I want my teams to be filled up with happy players.
Good hunt, Spartans.

There's a few users here for whom it does not seem to work. Please leave feedback, after testing.Worked fine for me (Win11), but there might be other variables in play.

Following behind my admittedly VERY excited pup, I gave my armor another look over. My Hud alone was crazy, having access to a live chat feed in one corner, that was an acting transcript for whatever comms channel I was on. another spot gave me a-not-quite radar suite and motion tracker that used my unique boot falls to ping, as the shoes of the armor had a special kit in them that would send either a radar or lidar pulse whenever I took a step, then the 'skin' of the armor would detect the returning vibrations. This whole suit was a prototype to counter dark and cramped areas, or to find hidden targets I'm told, and if I ever am sitting, all I need to do to get a 45-degree motion sweep is tap my feet. I was told to be on a swivel in mission, so my armor would have a wider search array, but I figured I would already be doing so in order to look for the target. on the bottom of the sensor indicator, I had a battery indicator and a usage meter, which if I focused on with my eyes, I could route power around from section to section, allowing me to make the suit's power last longer, at the cost of less powerful systems. I had Indicators for friendly troops, and a variable enhanced audio pickup suite, which allowed me to filter and enhance certain noises, like Charlie's barks.over the comms I heard Sharn's voice.
"Alright search team, we have a confirmation on Charlie picking up a trail, Keep your eyes sharp, your ears trained, and your hands to yourself." I chuckled at that.
"Whoever is snickering on the comms, and I will find out, had better shut it or face a week of restroom duty."
With a final chuckle I responded- "Mam, I don't know if you can give non-enlisted contractors toilet duty, but if you can, then you might want to rethink that, if the stories are true."
The communications channel was dead silent for a solid minute, and I feared that I had overstepped my bounds, when the lieutenant, sounding like she had just recomposed herself, chuck

TL/DR: Why does it feel like SBMM hates my friends and I when we play together? Our KDs vary from 0.70-1.49.
Let me say, I LOVE Halo Infinite, my friends love Halo Infinite. This is not a criticism, maybe just a lack of understanding on my part for how SBMM works in non-ranked gameplay. My friends and I started a massive Google Spreadsheet to track a rolling K/D from our most recent 100 matches, we love the stats haha. We're also recording W/L, accuracy averages, KDA, and maps played. We can even sort our sheet by map, to see which maps we "perform" better or worse on. There are 4 of us, average KDs as of now are 1.49 (mine), 0.70, 1.02, and 0.85. After realizing how much harder the game becomes when we play together, we started a separate sheet to record data for when we play together, and collective KDs dip by 0.4-0.7 when all 4 of us play together.
When I play solo, matchmaking seems consistent and fair. All in all, a great experience, best SBMM I've experienced in a while. When I play with 1 or 2 friends, matchmaking still seems just fine. But when all 4 of us play together, we get absolutely curb stomped every time. I know it sounds like we're just bad at playing as a team, but we're fine as a team in other games, and none of us are absolute shitters we're all pretty average at this game. And we're all experiencing what feels like much more difficult matchups when we play together. I'm self aware enough that I can tell in Halo when I'm playing against someone who is better than me, and aware enough when I am just not playing well. I have a hard time believing a KD dip of 0.4-0.7 could solely be attributed to us not communicating well, it really really just feels like we always get pitted against far more skilled players.
Anyone else experience getting really hard matchups when playing with friends who have varied skill levels? Any ideas what the reason for this is?

Charlie Pov:
I AM SO EXCITED!!! So EXCITED I COULD USE MY TAIL AS A METHOD OF MOVING . . .
ok tail... you can stop now...
any moment now...
"TAIL STOP!" I bark out, eliciting a chuckle from Alpha. I turn to face him in the flying but not very high thing- and watch as he struggles to pull his outer skin off, his face a bright red. The big upright furball next to me was pretty simple to understand, she was slightly embarrassed while trying not to look at my alpha.
perhaps she... nooo... surely not... she's not angling to be his mate is she...?
I mean if she is... that would be cool... I don't know. I wonder what the pups would be like. i notice a pair of evil rodents out the window and give them a good fussing, before the low flying box comes to a stop. Then big fur turns to face the now reskinned alpha
"You ready?"
"Yeah, sorry about that..."
"I don't mind!" she practically hollers, causing the purple tall ones to chuckle and glance back. "Well, we're here, so get Charlie in his vest Ulrika, Halu-"
The other purple tall one had already hopped out. She liked this game as much as I did! maybe we could go chase some evil squirrels!
then she opened Alpha's door with that rolling chair blocking the way. Alpha protested, but was forced into the chair, and was started to be carted to the other purple tall one. I had a new game vest on, and I was so excited I could nearly pee myself! but I didn't because then I would get fussed at and make alpha mad... so instead I bounced around like a puppy! it has been so long since we last played this game! as I was finally let out, now on my work lead I was passed over to alpha who gave a command- smell.
Taking a deeeeep whiff of the garment I noticed a distinct purple lavender smell, with some different tracing markers than I normally face, meaning that this game is on a medium difficulty. I feel a breeze on my face, good, I can detect a fa

First off, I just want to start out by saying this is not intended as an attack on those hard-working Guardians who use Trials report to form teams. Life is short, Trials can be an awful slog, and we all want to go Flawless. I completely understand why people ask for it, but Iβm sure we can all agree the practice doesnβt exactly make the Trials community the most welcoming place to find fellow Lighthouse seekers.
So, with that said, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you wonderful Guardians who are so welcoming to anyone keen to test their mettle under the watchful eye of Saint 14. You guys are amazing. Iβve learnt so much this season about communication, flanking, collapsing, getting picks, and not getting picked, and seen so many awesome builds. I love your passion and your patience. You guys have encouraged me to up my game and rise to the occasion and I only hope that as I improve, I can carry on your efforts and help other new Trials players in their goal of reaching the lighthouse.
I also want to say this isnβt a post about getting carried. I donβt want to be carried, as being carried isnβt going to change anything. What I want to do is to learn and improve, and I can honestly say that while I know that Iβm never going to be a Trials god, Iβve learnt so much from you guys this season and itβs made me so stoked for the weekend whenever Trials is on!
Hope to see you all in a fireteam sometime,
TL/DR: Thanks to all those who a welcoming to new Lighthouse seekers. I really appreciate your effort.
You can skip every screen on boot-up. The studios, the warnings, and so on. For instance, starring Halo Infinite or MCC would be a lot better if I could press A a couple of times and already be in the menus instead of 15-20 seconds. I know this can seem trivial, but when the alternative is there it's hard not to feel the difference.
Before you point out Quick Resume, it's more hassle than it's worth for multiplayer games.

Ulrika had apparently called the major, resulting in time being called until I was no longer paralyzed by the pair of laser rounds, now being carried over the Rakiri's shoulder, I limply noted the feeling in my chest slowly returning. as we rounded yet another corner, we paused briefly Infront of a door until Ulrika fished out an ID. As the door slid open, I heard some fluster of motion... (as all I could see was I nice set of Rakira cheeks, and had a face full of tail, not that I minded of course...) and was promptly lifted by a set of purple hands in a similar manner to how you would pick up a cat. I noted Charlie being shooed out and Ulrika taking him away. someone noticed me struggling to get their attention, and a surprisingly feminine voice called over.
"don't worry they're going to the major's office."
"Thanks... umm..."
"Uvrall. don't worry about a thing. and before you ask... I am a male."
that stunned me into silence for a few moments. A guy? sounding like that?In my head I heard admiral Ackbar's famous line, causing me to finally snap back to reality.
I see an undoubtably flat yet feminine form glide into my eyesight. yep, 10/10 pretty much Astolfo levels of masculinity... or lack thereof...
The purple skinned male chuckles the goes emotionless.
"Not what you expected from a Shil'Vati male eh?"
I cough, eliciting a small smile from the purple figure. I laid out on the med bed, slowly feeling seeping into my shoulders. When the fluffy duo returned, major, lieutenant and, in a wheelchair, the poor Shil officer who shot me, in tow, I was mildly surprised to see everyone.
"Coulter... I hate to do this, but... Welcome to her majesties' Marines. As of today, you are an official asset of this division, entitling you to contractor pay, traveling as a part of the division wherever we deploy, and official clearance."

As the medic helped me sit up, it felt like my upper legs were dead asleep, and me, being the ever-prideful human that I am, rushed it, thrusting myself into a standing position, only to flop onto the floor, much to both amusement and mild panic of my new pod mates. "Mm... a little help?"
Ulrika smiled and lifted me up, only to deposit me in a wheelchair, much to my fuming response
"wha- HEY! I don't need a wheelchair! just let me wake my lower body up!"
that got a chuckle out of the duo, as I realized what I said.
"we can help you out with that later..." Halu said with a wink, eliciting a groan from the male behind us.
"OUT! NOW! if you lot are going to flirt, do it where people DON'T have paperwork to do!"
Ulrika handed me Charlie's lead, and being pulled by one excited mutt, and pushed by another, we left the med bay, Shil trailing behind.
exiting to the yard where I had entered the base, Lieutenant Sharn greeted us with map in hand.
"Good to see you all are ready to go, Coulter, you are going to have to be changed into your uniform on route, you will have a 12-block search area, none of the civilians have been informed of this op, due to this lowering the chances of any insurrectionists getting some funny ideas. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!"
"YES MAM!" "YES LIEUTENANT!"
as we file into the vehicle, Sharn starts the vehicle's engine, with Halu getting up front and Ulrika lifting my complaining body into the car with a chuckle, before folding the wheelchair up and putting it in the back, then climbing in with me. Charlie, now laid out between us, barks as a squirrel runs Infront of the vehicle

"Hard to believe, isn't it?" I think aloud." It's been nearly four years since they have come here, and no one wants us to help anymore" rubbing the pin in my hands, I turn it over, inspecting the four-chevron piece. I reach down giving Charlie, my loving Australian Shepard a pat, startling him from a light doze.
Putting the rank lapel down on my shelf I look out the window towards the blue ridge mountains, noting the large purple prefab complex blocking my view of the majestic hills. With a sigh I turn back to my studies, chuckling as my pooch does the same, puffing out in complaint from the lack of attention. My Shivali is rough, but functional, and if I ever hope of getting anywhere, I Had needed to learn more quickly.
I kept at it for a few hours, then feeling my bottom cramp up, stand up, earning a half wag from the eternal optimism that Charlie is as I walk by. I walk down the steps and pause. "Charlie! Wanna go get lunch boy?" I hear a thump noise as he slaps his paws on the carpet, excited about the prospect of food, then quickly press myself against the wall of the stairwell as he barrels out of my room, nearly jumping the length of the entire stair set from excitement. I chuckle as I resume walking down the stairs, at a much less enthusiastic pace than the flying pooch.
Grabbing my stuff, I taunt Charlie about him being ready to go, before absentmindedly grabbing his doggie bag. (No, it's not all pooper scooping stuff...) and opening the door to the garage, revealing an old '03 trailblazer. Charlie, spinning in circles, barks quietly, tail and butt waggling hard. getting in, and getting Charlie situated in the back, I back out of the garage, planning on heading to a well... not exactly a pub... but a... Irish inspired restaurant on main street, Thoughts of a Fitzgerald for me, while Charlie was no doubt thinking of any food, he can get his grubby paws on, together we drive down into town.
Pushing the car into park, I note the singular Shivali hover... truck? car? in the lot, good, that means there won't be too many thirsty purps to fend off, as I felt certain I could handle one or two, but if they were to gang up, I knew peer pressure would likely get to me. opening the door to the b

Chapter 1: fireteam floofy
As the waitress sets down the drinks I lean forward and regard the dark grey rakiri"The name is Ulrika, and I am in an unofficial capacity the acting translator and human relations officer to pod 3."
I was caught off guard by her fluent English, as she continued.
"I have been transferred here from Florida, frankly because of a strange incident involving someone throwing a LIVE alligator onto the convoy I was guarding, among other things."
I burst out laughing, prompting a waitress to poke her head out of the kitchen and shrug. Poor Ulrika looked at the table and grumbled. "it's not funny..."
I calm myself down enough to speak up
"it's not that the gator being used as a weapon that's funny, well maybe a little, but the funny thing is that-" I chuckle "That's typical Florida-man behavior. If anything can be learned from that encounter, it's that florida finally accepts you as the new overlords- err... overladies?"
"WHAT?!""Yeah, Florida's pretty crazy. only sane place there WAS cape Canaveral, but even then..."
I then pull up an old prewar article on my phone 'FLORIDAMAN ARRESTED FOR THROWING ALIGATOR AT MCDONALDS RESTURAUNT WHILE DRUNK' passing it over I watch her eyes expand in both awe and mild terror from the prospect of a man who can bodily throw her. Then as she keeps scrolling she jolts and drops the phone with an 'eep!' noise
"w-why doesn't he have a shirt on or something?!" her tail is straight as an arrow "th-this is- extremely lewd!"
I blink for a moment before it finally dawns on me"Ah- erm... it is very... muggy down in Florida."
her forepaw slaps into the table "That's NO excuse for a man to be dressed like THAT!" the waitress returns with our meal and sets it gracefully away from the flustered Xeno.
I lower my hand, trying to get her to calm down, and slowly she settles down, only to jump in her seat as she notices the plate nearby loa
... keep reading on reddit β‘For the past 3 days, I've noticed some fireteams just seem to be able to see through my cloak, even when I'm standing still longer than 3 sec, just impossible tracking fets, even with a Discipline Predator. They act like bots.
I noticed one feature is that Dante is the guy always reporting and able to laser focus on me. I believe the latest patch introduced a vision bug that allows Dante characters to see the predator as if having a wallhack.
Just played a match and ran away to set up motion trackers, when I saw him coming alone I knew. He just came straight at me, the mission was at the train and for some reason he abandoned his team to walk across to the helicopter and stare at a random building and then shoot me. I had been cloaked and still for 15+ seconds.
This continued as I ran a merry chase, used decoys. Multiple times I was standing still for 3+ second, with active noise decoys and without err, I could watch his gun tracking my position when it made no sense.
So either the cloaking is bugged, or some people (Dante was the only thing I noticed as a correlation) are able to see the Predator at all times, potentially through solid walls.

Standing before the door, I look at the werewolf beside me. she opens it, revealing... a very plain workspace with papers strewn across the desk. The Shil 'Vati behind it looked equally a mess, and if I didn't think that Shil could get bags under their eyes, boy was I wrong. The lady grimaced as we entered, taking a flask from somewhere and chugging it, before slamming it down on the desk looking no better for wear.
"Alright let's hear it... What parade, celebration, or other event do the stupid town council want NOW?"she then looks up at me, and does a double take "you are not from the city council... Ulrika who did you bring into my office?"
"He is here to help us with any and all Search operations, using his professionally trained canine, MAM"
"Is that so... alright, sir what is your name"
"My name is Coulter, Coulter McGonnell, Mam"

Hey guys, Iβm interested in becoming an airsoft medic (Ik itβs definitely not necessary for an airsoft fireteam but I still think itβd be quite cool). So, this leads me to my question of: what kind of gear would be helpful for an airsoft medic? Iβm assuming things like bandaids (or plasters as we call them in the UK) and gauze tape? I have no proper medical experience but would love to pick up a thing or two (although saying that, I am CPR trained so that could be a start). I think it would be very handy to have a medic around. Iβm assuming the injures are as simple as cuts and breaks so anyone got any other ideas about I can carry around with me and ofc what I would do with it? Any and all tips on how I could fulfill this task would be amazing!

As I followed Ulrika to her vehicle, she paused, and asked why I was ok with being led into a barracks full of horny marines. To which I responded simply with-"Because Charlie likes you."
she opens the back door of the hovering vehicle, allowing Charlie and I to hop in, while she walks over to the driver's chair. Having already grabbed Charlie's supplies I felt confident, knowing I could finally do something again.
As the vehicle started, I gently pet Charlie's back, while quietly getting him hyped up about what was to come, planning on surprising the rakiri when she opened the door. after a ten- or so-minute drive in relative silence until the vehicle is stopped at a checkpoint near the Shil'vati headquarters. There I see a purp talking to Ulrika through the window, before they stop and open the door.
"Uh-oh" are the only words i can manage before Charlie EXPLODES out the open door, somehow barreling down the poor Shil'Vati that opened the door. He starts licking the terrified marine's face, while I try to get out and pull him off. I hear a loud barking laugh, soon followed by more voices joining in, as Ulrika bends over laughing uncontrollably.
I AM SO DEAD.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I had just pulled Charlie off the thoroughly slobbered marine when an unmistakable commanding voice rings out "WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE SEA OF SOULS IS GOING ON HERE!"
Immediately all involved jump straight to attention, including myself. Ulrika begins to speak but is immediately cut off by the C.O.
