General Electric to split itself into three separate companies. One aviation, one energy, and one healthcare.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/09/ge-to-break-up-into-3-companies-focusing-on-aviation-healthcare-and-energy.html

An intriguing decision by General Electric this morning, to decide to break up the conglomerate it is today, into three separate companies.

I’m definitely interested in picking up shares of the Aviation and Energy companies when the dust settles from this.

Joe's History of Aviation: 1927 Faireys at Hayes, the Firefly and Belgium (my grandfather's memoirs- a WW1 mechanic)

It was the beginning of the modern era. There was cadmium treatment, anodizing, steel tube fuselages and wings with built up steel spars and duralumin ribs. No longer did we have rubber chord wound round several times as shock absorber for our undercarriages, not yet called β€œunder carts”, but still called β€œchassis”. Fuel systems were now almost all pressure fed by a pump on the motor. But there still existed the old-fashioned Constantinesco gear, with cord wound round the pipes at intervals, and instruments were still large and round, taking up much more dashboard space than necessary. These things dated from the last War, though, in America there existed instruments which were made in narrow strips, and so took up less room.

Brakes were beginning to be used, and, about this time, someone at the Air Ministry caused a great deal of consternation by ordering the changing of the order of the colours on Air Force rudders. These had been, since the early days of 1914, when the practice of painting Union Jacks on the rudders was discontinued, blue, white and red, in that order from the fin. By the new Air Ministry order, rudders were to be red, white and blue, similar to the strips from French aeroplanes and all existing rudders had to be changed at once. This was called progress.

It was at about this time that what is so often called nowadays the β€œwarplane” began to be developed. One could visualize the future fighter as carrying aloft something pretty formidable in the way of firepower, and the bomber as doing something big guns couldn’t do. Every firm in England turned out new machines, and at Fairey’s metal versions of the β€œFox” and β€œFirefly” were produced. The latter had never been in production, though the one fitted with the β€œCurtiss” D.12 had caused people to run for cover whenever it had been dived at crowds at different meetings. Now, however, with the Rolls Royce β€œKestrel” a supercharged motor, completely metal framed, and with oleo-rubber legs, it was a different kite, and, the prototype being presented to the Belgian army, they decided to buy 25, with a further order to follow. Part of the contract was that the further machines were to be built in Belgium, and Mr. E.O. Tips took over the organizing and equipping of the factory at Gosselies, near Charleroi.

I had been doing odd jobs in the factory at Hayes, a bit of inspection, a few outside trips to RAF stations to clear up snags on installations and such things as piloting visitors through the

Need a way to contact VeriTree directly for company involvement - carbon offsets for large aviation company

[Edit: Solved] Guys - can somebody help me out with a more direct contact to VeriTree than the generic form on their web page? I'm happy to be relayed via involved people of Cardano Foundation etc. if you don't know a direct contact or discord or something (DM me).

Background: A couple of weeks ago, I've contacted compensaid (https://compensaid.com/) who are managing the carbon offsets for Lufthansa (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lufthansa), the second largest European Airline, and suggested that VeriTree would bring some much-needed accountability into their carbon offset projects. After receiving a rather generic answer at first, they followed up personally, asking for a qualified contact at VeriTree. Alas, while I do have some of their tokens in my wallet, I don't have a direct contact.

[Edit]: All good! Contact was found, people were introduced, things are moving forward. Thanks to everyone who pitched in!

What Ever Happened To the Assets of the "Private Aviation Company"?

Surely there were planes, jet fuel, air time, staff, and other Aviation assets that would tell part of the story of what happened to the money.

Without saying too much, my contacts are buzzing and this was relayed:

"The women on the show were paying for 'Legal advice?'

How can they pay for legal advice from a man whom is allegedly incompetent?

Is that why Denise was so reluctant to take the advice?

(That and knowing Erika would then know her business and have something to hold over her head.)

Is 'Legal Advice' the code term for allegedly putting money on the street at 5 points a week?

(Even so-called 'rich people' need loans from time to time.)

There's no way Tom and Erika weren't up to something more nefarious with the money.

Remember the 'Private aviation company?'

Wanna bet they were either moving 'weight,' girls/boys/T-Gurls, or doing "Private flights" for celebs and VIPs that didn't want their movements tracked?

Remember that story Paula Abdul told about the plane crash, but there was no flight info on it.

Paula insists it happened.

(Not saying their company, but something similar.)

(Stuff like that...start there with your research, and I don't mean Conspiracy Theory stuff. Just the world of Ultra-Private travel and hushed up scandals.)

Wasn't it alleged that Erika met Arme and Scoter at a "Private Xes Party?"

That's probably where she met her new (alleged) sponsor."

Not my info so don't shoot the messenger.
