A list of puns related to "Fable (video game series)"
The Fable series is probably one of my favorite video game series that I have played. I haven't really been able to find another video game that is similar.
I liked being able to run around and live my character's life and do missions when I felt like it.
I am looking for Xbox 360 game suggestions.
I have revisited Fable III after not playing for many years and I must say, the game is so incredibly in depth. Much more in depth during it's prime than many other games.
I have played Fable I and Fable II but III is my favorite and replaying has reminded me why. There are so many things I love about it.
How your weapon evolves depending on who you kill
How you can use your rifle and pistol by down sight aiming
How each attack has 2 or 3 levels of damage ontop of upgrading your method of attack
The immense amount of choices you can have and the consequences they bring
Your character will preform specialized kills in slomo from time to time
You can contract STD's by having unprotected sex. Unprotected sex can lead to children.
When you get married you have to choose a house to live in.
You can train your dog to become better at fighting and sniffing out buried treasure
The ability to dye your clothes, buy furniture for your houses, get tattoos and different hair styles
How villagers react to your presence as the game goes on
Finding buried treasure
and so much more.
I chose to beat the game with a method that took me a while. I started off buying 1 house and renting it out. It would net me ~300 dollars every 5 minutes. I slowly saved and then bought more and more until I owned almost every place I could in the game and was amassing ~70,000 dollars every 5 minutes. Rent generally set between "normal" and "high". The only places that were set to "super high" were the 3 houses that surrounded a lake. I forgot the name of this area. I set all of them to super high and from these 3 alone netted around 30,000 dollars every 5 minutes but at a cost of >600,000 for all 3 houses. That's one of the things I love so much. You have to save up a lot and invest it in order to make more money.
I chose to delay each "day" by not returning to Bowerstone Castle but instead complete side missions and friendship requests. This allowed me to accomplish more in the game as well as kill time that I needed to kill in order to amass large amounts of money to donate to the kingdom. At one point I had amassed 10,000,000 and donated it all to the kingdom. This took quite some time but was worth it because I was able to save my kingdom, fulfill ALL the promises I made and completed the game with the best possible outcome. Since then, I sold all he properties, kept 6,000,000 and have 12,000,000 in the kingdoms treasury. Now, I am completi

Along with choosing your own playstyle and class. Any suggestions for games like it on PS4?
>The Fable series takes place in the fictional nation of Albion, a state that, at the time of the first game, is composed of numerous autonomous city-states with vast areas of countryside or wilderness in between. The setting originally resembles medieval Europe, or traditional fantasy settings like that of The Elder Scrolls or The Lord of the Rings. However, the period of time progresses with each game; in Fable II, Albion has advanced to an era similar to that of the Age of Enlightenment, and by Fable III the nation has been unified under a monarchy and is undergoing an "Age of Industry" similar to the real-world 18th-19th-century Industrial Revolution.
>In the first Fable, players assume the role of an orphaned boy who is forced into a life of heroism when bandits attack his village, and kidnap his sister. The choices players make in the game affect the perception and reaction to their Hero by the characters of Albion and change the Hero's appearance to mirror what good or evil deeds he has performed. In addition to undertaking quests to learn what happened to the Hero's family, players can engage in optional quests and pursuits such as trading, romance and married life, pub gaming, boxing, and theft. Even so, set quests are the motor of the story development.

If you played all of them, which is your favorite and why? Your least favorite?
How do you think the RPG elements hold up over time?

Friedemann Friese's Fast Forward: FORTRESS handles 2-4 players, and is one of the finest entries in his "Fast Forward" series of light, fast, and fun family fillers. It comes with 90 over-sized cards with attractive an graphic design and artwork. With each game playable in less than 15 minutes, you can expect to get in at least a dozen plays before you've discovered the entire system. The basic concept is fairly straight forward: cards have numbers, and you're using sets of cards to capture "Fortresses". To capture a fortress from another player, you must play a set of cards worth more than theirs. But you don't know the exact strength of their defenders, so there's considerable bluffing involved, and numerous twists will be introduced that affect how the value of your cards are calculated, and other elements get added to the gameplay as the rules change. Can you win the game by being the player with the largest number of fortresses?
GAME-PLAY
The main aim of Fast Forward FORTRESS is to play cards to capture fortresses, by playing a set of cards of the highest value. Because you don't know the value of the cards currently beneath the fortress, there's considerable scope for bluffing. The game also employs Friedeman Friese's fable concept, in that you learn the rules as you play, and cards with new rules and mechanics emerge as the game progresses. Occasionally the rules may create some ambiguities, although fortunately anything that isn't clear won't usually be game-breaking. A big reason that accounts for why Fortress is so entertaining is to play the fun of discovering these new rules, cards, and mechanics. Some people even find that the fable concept works better than the concept of legacy games. The game does start fairly slowly, but over time becomes more and more interesting. Most individual games only take around ten minutes, while playing through the entire system will take about 90 minutes. There is an addictive quality that will keep you playing games one after another, but there is replayability even once you have gone through the entire system. Even those uninterested in playing the entire system more than once, found that Fortress was worth playing through even just once, given how much fun it was.
IMPRESSIONS
Friedemann Friese continues to impress with his creative approach to game design, and Fast Forward: FORTRESS is another fine entry in the excellent Fast

Doesn't necessarily has to be medieval fantasy, any kind of genre will do but noting that's first person, I just really don't like first person games.
Hi all!
I'm hoping for a game similar to the Fable series, but something where I can play online with lots of others. Something where I can be a female character, develop skills, fight, create guilds or groups, have a house, dress my character, etc. I've tried Runescape but I absolutely can't stand the controls and format it uses. I'd be happy with a game in any time period- past, present, future. Plus it seems super cheaply put together. However, the specs on my laptop aren't great so I probably can't get anything super amazing.
I should mention I did like Wizard101 and Toontown Rewritten (no I'm not a 12 year old I'm just a female college student who doesn't like things that don't require major time commitment or a massive knowledge of video games lol)
I would prefer a game I can get off of steam! I've got a gift card sooo that's kind of the plan.
I have a Macbook Air. The specs are: Processor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
If you need any other information, let me know!
It breaks my heart that Lionshead Studios went under. I have very fond memories of the original Fable, and liked Fable 2 well enough. Fable 3 was disappointing in some ways, but it still had its strong points. I'd been hoping they'd turn it around and find the magic that made Fable 1 so great, but they got shut down. It was just a very nice "feel good" game that also had some great mechanics.
Does anyone know of any games that have similar traits? Action RPG, warmth of ambience, great soundtrack, compelling story, physical character development- things like this.
Thanks
You know, the mood of English fairytale - naively mystical combined with occasional horror. Other examples of such mood that I can think of is Night before Xmas.
Like, fogs, werewolves, industrial society, that kind of stuff. Hope this makes any sense :D

Obviously Fable III isn't a bad game, but I've heard a lot of disappointment over the latest sequel. But the criticisms I've heard seem to be coming from gamers who have played at least one or both of the previous installments.
Is Fable III truly great if I've never experienced another game in the series?
Please keep in mind I'm a gamer who mostly plays games currently for the story.
List of my games!
Hello!
I've been trying some RPG labeled games, but i dont like how they are played (i dont like de FF battle type).
Here is the thing, In Fable, you can be a boy or a girl (just like my favorite game, Legend of Mana), and the girl is the Hero, its so awesome for me to feel like im in the game, im there, saving and battling and crying (afraid of something, i cant play Half Life without screaming, i get scared this easy), but this is not the most important part, i need a story that let me choose to be good or bad. Give me choices and different ways to get at an end.
So, DAK a game like Fable? I miss games that i can be part of the story, im actually playing Binding of Isaac, and after 110+ hours it gets kinda boring. Any tips would be awesome, and any platform.
UPDATE: Hey, i was with some money problems to get mass effect, asked for it in /r/GiftofGames and /u/brXtn send me Mass Effect Collection!!! Just started the game before going to bed, wow. The cinematics. Thanks everyone :)
Any suggestions? That series is up there with my all time favorite and I'd like something similar to dive into.
