A list of puns related to "Escape from L.A."
My question is - do you think they'll be releasing a steelbook version? I like to have all of my John Carpenters on Steelbook. https://www.shoutfactory.com/product/escape-from-l-a-collector-s-edition?product_id=7340
Lmao. Everyone knows ICP been stealing beats and riffs and samples since the beginning. And I ain't hating, I know they consider it a form of tribute (even though they never gave credit to the original artists which is a little shitty). Sublime is notorious for doing the same thing (but they actually gave credit to like 30% of the artists. Not much better, really).
Anyway. I'm watching Escape From LA and it hit me like a ton of bricks, ICP ripped off the opening sequence and used it for the intro on BizAar.
Anybody ever notice this? Links in the comments. And if you wanna share any other origins of samples please do. I find this kinda shit super interesting.
[Spoiler] this episode, also known as the one where Bojack go to New Mexico and makes the biggest mistake of the whole series, is so emotional and heartbreaking, but makes it so good.
Title ^
I don't know, just a thought I had
This episode still fucks me up even though I've seen it so many times since it came out. it's probably my favorite episode of the series still even with all the great episodes from the later seasons. What episodes cause you guys the most emotional distress
Also Battle on the Big Bridge from Final Fantasy 5.

I watched it when it came out, and I have been watching older action movies, seeking that nostalgia I had when I watched them as a kid.
I have to comment on a few things:
While I am sure the special effects were revolutionary at the time of release, it's surreal to see how far we have come. Some of the scenes were almost unwatchable because of how fake the background looked.
I had no idea Bruce Campbell was the disfigured surgeon general.
Still fun to watch.

^(Last time I tried to upload fanfiction here it was quite the struggle. Hopefully now that I'm using fanfiction.net it'll be less off a hassle, but please let me know if something's not working!)
First off, if you for some reason haven't seen the work of /u/TwixsterTheTrickster yet, it's about time you fixed that! If you enjoy the feeling of getting stabbed in the chest, you'll love these stories and pieces of art! The story I'm sharing is particularly my take on this story, but from "MC's" point of view. And yes, I called him John. Feel free to substitute in whatever name you want for him, it is a fake identity after all. That's just the name I went with when I played DDLC so it just seemed right.
Now for some random Q&A that nobody asked for!
Is the story an exact copy of Twixter's work? No, but those familiar with his work will certainly understand it a whole lot better.
How edgy is this story? Quite edgy, but it should still be readable. That's the idea at least. "Gritty" might be a better word tbh but meh.
ArE u JuSt SteeLiNg hiS StORy??? No, as a matter of fact I asked Twixter's permission before beginning writing and I got the "ok." I'm sure you'll find that our writing styles are very different.
How long is the story? ^^^6,610 ^^^words ^(hahaha I may or may not have gotten a bit carried away but shush.)
The story doesnβt 100% match Twixterβs story! Are you bad at this??? No (I mean, I could be, but thatβs another story), I just decided to make my own little tweaks here and there. I enjoy when my stories feel gritty and real, and if that means removing the constant explosions and not letting Sayori shrug off a bullet to the shoulder, that seems ok to me. Everyone has their own tastes.
THE STORY ENDS BUT SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD CONTINUE! WILL YOU WRITE MORE? Depends on what kind of interest people have in it. I really am not sure what kind of response this will get, but if it does get a good response I might consider continuing my own little branching storyline from Twixter's (if he's ok with it, that is).
Y U BULLI DOKIS??? I love them all, ok? It hurts to see them hurt, but this was my way of
Some of the funnier scenes include: Snake is on a motorcycle, chasing the bad guy in a convertible. After the bad guy misses Snake with a damn machine gun, he asks for his, (hand tossed), "bolos". Yup, that should do the trick... and be sure to not get too creeped out by the exercise machine, "torture" scene.
