At the end of the 5 years, based on the tone/idea selected. Before we begin, I'd like to make a program like this, but I feel like I'm about to have a drain that leads outside. Before we begin, I'd like to make a program like this, but I feel like I should be giving them things instead.
Darren Jarman Medal
After patching up my shattered dreams and realising the club will go on I went back through the two good finals voting threads and there I discovered a theme.
Matthew Crouch was either first or second in about 80% of the votes.
#Congratulations for Loyal and faithful super-star Matt Crouch
Shane Ellen Medal
And because I am literally a dictator I decided that Matt Crouch also gets the Shane Ellen Medal for best afield on our team on Saturday.
#Even more congratulations Matt Crouch
Tony Modra Moon-Boot
And in honour of /u/chewy_bravo asking me to, Brodie Smith is the winner of the not-very-coveted Tony Modra Moon-Boot for best injured player of the finals series.
#Sorry Brodie
Thank you for your help and voting throughout the year faithful flock, it was a lot of fun right up until the last 45 minutes.

##Laird Barron
Laird Barron probably needs no introduction on this subreddit but he's an author and poet. Recently he won the 2013 Bram Stoker Award for Fiction Collection with his work The Beautiful Thing that Awaits Us All. His short stories have been included in over 50 anthologies. He's also written a couple novels like The Croning and he's editing the upcoming anthology, The Year's Best Weird Fiction.
He'll be doing an AMA this Friday, May 30th at 7pm ET.
##Simon Strantzas
Author and editor Simon Strantzas will be doing an AMA on June 15th at 8pm ET. Simon is author of the recently released collection Burnt Black Suns. If you havenβt heard of it yet, you will. It was recently reviewed on Arkham Digest and S. T. Joshi called it βone of the best weird collections [heβs] ever readβat least in the last 20 years and maybe longer than that.β Simon has also been nominated for a British Fantasy Award and heβs been included in The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror, The Best Horror of the Year, and Black Wings III.
So add June 15th to you calendar and come join the discussion. It would be an excellent opportunity to read Burnt Black Suns and discuss it with him.
##Contest winners
Regarding the Ellen Datlow AMA contest, the top 3 questions when I checked this morning were from /u/chrisdodson1982, /u/TalkingMonkeys, and /u/thefriendcatcher. Points fluctuate on Reddit a lot but these questions were at the top most of the time. If you didn't win this time, not to worry, we'll have more contests.
Thanks to all who participated in the AMA. It was a lot of fun.
She said that Corinne was on Ellen and that means that she's lost on the show even though it hasn't been announced yet. I really don't want any spoilers but my girlfriend has been pretty spot on for the seasons we've watched with choosing the winner.
Is she right that Corinne wouldn't have gone on Ellen if she got the final rose?
