A list of puns related to "Electrophone (information system)"

Why YSK: They enrolled all customers automatically in their system that collects and stores your visited websites and app usage. If you donβt want them to automatically store and use this information, you must opt-out through your settings.
Mainstream media is not perfect by a longshot, but it is infinitely better than the alternative.
Beware of politicians who tell you to block out information reported by journalists. They want to hook you onto alternative information they control so they can steal unlimited money from you, steal your rights, and enslave you in their version of reality.
Blaming journalists for bad news is akin to shooting the messenger.
Eliminating real journalists creates a perfect disinformation loop where politicians have unlimited power to feed you alternative facts and groom you into their control.
They can pass unlimited tax cuts for the rich, erase the outcomes of elections, control your perception of reality and rule you like gods without any checks or controls on their power.
They can make your life worse and feed you disinformation blaming it on their enemies.
Beware politicians who want to control your information systems. It is no different than any other totalitarian system.
Mainstream media always needs to work to improve, but the work of real journalists is infinitely better than propagandists pumping out lies and insanity to groom you into a politician's absolute control.
Conspiracies can be a useful excercise to question the official story, or they can be the tools of fascists to groom hatred and rage and drive people insane by the millions.
Beware the politicians who attack journalism as fake. Most likely, it is because they don't want you to believe damaging information about them, and instead want you to only believe their version of reality.
Hi guys, I just read through the whole article about the new cash delivery system, and for anyone who was wondering or had any questions, here's most of the important points I read about this:
Tips aren't included in original total, so if you want the guaranteed tip/high payment then you should just decline it.
One of the best things about this I think is that if a customer doesn't have the cash or refuses to pay/tries to claim they paid on the app, you don't have to wait for them, or wait 5 minutes, or anything. If they refuse to pay, you can just walk away, and in the app it let's you select that the customer refused to pay and you get to keep the food and get the guaranteed base pay on the app. This makes it easier unfortunately for dishonest dashers to scam the system.
The worst thing about this is that if you don't have change, you have to give the customer the order for free and you only get the base pay in the app. And you know that people are only going to try to pay in 100$ bills, so this could increase the likelihood of getting robbed.
I personally think that this is a really stupid addition to the app, and it also encourages people to not tip because they don't have that option in the app. So my personal advice is to not accept these, as too many things could go wrong. So stay safe out there dashers, and keep getting that dough.
Today we get weather reports mentioning things like the current temperature, what it actually feels like accounting for windchill, etc... But how would someone living a 1-3000 years ago have measured it?
Was having a good grasp of the temperature important or was just feeling it with your body enough?
I've been searching online for a basic Student Information System (SIS) for a small technical school (about 200 students), but the number of possible choices is overwhelming.
We only need the system to keep track of students, what courses they're taking, their attendance, grades, and what they've accomplished after graduating (in other words, whether they got a job interview, got hired, etc.). We intent for it to be used only by teachers (it doesn't need to have LMS features).
In addition, the system must be:
One system that appears to match these requirements is RosarioSIS, but are there any other options that match the above criteria?
Thank you in advance.
My resume is emptier than the sahara desert and I have not done any personal projects so far. My question is, should I spend Y2 summer break spamming personal projects to beef up my github or try and find an internship? (not sure if this is possible with nothing to show for)
Also, what to put in the resume as an SoC student? Does the projects we do in school via mods count lol (e.g. CS2030, IS2103).
Thanks
[edit] If anyone doesn't mind sharing what you show to companies to get yourself hired (e.g. resume and maybe GitHub profile? (do companies even look at this?)) for reference, that would be greatly appreciated!
This is a small program I made to learn some of the basics of Rust. Basically neofetch but in Rust. I tried to make it modular and easy to configure and customize. I learned a lot from making this, some of the code is probably not up to the standard and a bit wonky, but it was a learning process.
I'm quite enjoying the language, coming from c++, I've decided to make Rust one of my main languages along with c++.
Anyhow, the instructions are written in the repo if anyone wishes to use it. Hope you like it!

MGMT 210 w/ Bill Ryan
Professor Ryan is a kind man who truly cares about his students. He has experience as a government CIO (Chief Information Officer) and is very knowledge in the field of Information Systems and Management. There are discussion posts, and a few homework (article reviews), make sure to write a lot, three tests, and a group project where you interview a manager. The tests are pretty hard so make sure you read the book and do the study guide. But overall the material is pretty easy.
Grade: A
ECON 102 w/ Nandita Dasgupta
3 Test (each 10%), one cumulative final exam (30%), and homework on respective chapters (mind tap)(30%). Attendance counts as 10% of grade. Read the PPT, the chapters, and take notes in class and you should be able to get an A. Tests are really hard but is curved 10%. Dr. Dasgupta might come off as mean and strict at first but deep down she's kind and understanding. You get extra credits for answering questions during lecture.
Grade: A
COMP 101 w/ Mark Berczynski
Mark Bercyznski is a benevolent professor who genuinely cares about his students, he does go really fast and the class can be very difficult if you do not have previous programming experience. There is a individual project (Galaga type game) make sure to go to office hours. One Group Project (a game depicting college life at UMBC), midterm and final. There are a few group quizzes in class, and some take home individual quizzes which are multiple attempt. I did not have any previous programming experience and was still able to get an A in this class. Processing, a silly java-like language is used.
Garde: A
ARCH 120 w/ Esther Reed
Easy A, 3 Exams, the lowest one is dropped, a few quizzes, the lowest quiz grade is dropped, and two homework. Attendance counts as a grade. A lot of extra credit opportunities, no need to purchase any books.
Grade: A
ECON 101 w/ Christelle Viauroux
There is a timed group quiz every week, tests are poorly written. You have to teach yourself everything. One of my friends failed this class. I withdrew after failing the midterm. I do not recommend taking this professor.
Grade: Withdrawal
Overall GPA: 4.0
Hey guys, hope you are doing well? I have a question,I have bachelor degree in accounting but I am interested in information systems so I decided to take a Post graduate diploma in information systems Is this gonna be useful for me as an accountant or is there a link between information systems and accounting ?
Basically title - boyfriend and I both got vaxxed at Hynes Convetion Center but can't seem to find our records on myvaxrecords.mass site. Anyone else also having this issue?
It was a huge vaccination site run by the state in April-21 so Idk why they wouldn't have uploaded the info.

Hello,
I have written the first draft of my SOP for a Master's program in Information Systems Management and was hoping if anyone can review it for me and offer suggestions on the same. Thank you.
Before you judge me for nitpicking and ranting over something petty, please read first. If you had gone through a similar situation, you would understand. So here it goes. My current work requires me to deal with citizenry from different backgrounds and interests and try to shift their minds into working togetherβ to achieve one main, bigger-than-life goal. You can bet that there is plenty of preliminary work needed to be done. Most of them are very tedious like sending invitation letters. Being the lowest of the bunch, this is the task given to me though I have to say, is a waste of my experience and knowledge in the field. Anyway, onto what is mentioned in the title, during the preliminary work, many hours were wasted from trying to look for mailing addresses for government state agencies (ie: state divisions, branches, officers, even ADUNs and what have you). Why do I say it was a waste of time? Because there was no exact, correct nor updated info being put online on their official websites! This is utterly frustrating to the point I can't be stoic about it anymore. I give you an example: I was googling for the full address of one ADUN Gombak Setia N.17. A quick google will bring you two different answers from two government websites. From Portal Rasmi Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah Gombak will give you Tuan Hasbullah Bin Ridzuan as the YB. However if you go to Portal Rasmi Dewan Negeri Selangor, Y.B. Tuan Muhammad Hilman Bin Idham as the YB. Like what the shit. Some other examples of bad information system (lack of words on what to describe the problem we have here) I found were the inconsistencies in website design. You have various designs for government portals which to me personally should be standardised. I can understand that some states offices may want to have their own design to be unique (maybe) but whatever the reason behind it, practicality should be the priority here. People cannot appreciate a good aesthetic if the website cannot even function properly. Trust me when I say I found an official branch website using blogspot domain. This is ridiculous. As for the vital info I need, some don't have names of officers, no emails, and contact no. SMH. So fellow monyets have you faced similar issues before? What have you found to be the most depressing problems? And how do you think this can be resolved?
I truly have a passion for everything business. I love technology but I'm not sure if I'm ready for all the coding talk that I hear.
I really want this to be my major I'm just wondering if it is worth it...
Changed my major to IS going into spring semester (Iβm a freshman). Looking for some advice on what the work load is like and what I should practice/learn over the next month. Not very familiar with any languages so trying to learn Java and Python rn. Is that a good idea?
I'm about to go into college and am torn between taking an MIS major or an IT degree. I am interested in programming and have been programming for about a year now, I am leaning more towards MIS since then I'll get the opportunity to do a double major in Finance as well which would look good on my and resume and it's also something I'm pretty interested in. I've heard companies think MIS and IT are interchangeable, so I was wondering if that was a sound decision.
College application deadlines are coming and Iβm still so confused as to what course I want to take. If there are people here who are currently taking comp sci or in sys I would really appreciate your thoughts. Originally I had decided to take comp sci but thereβs this thought that I might not enjoy my career in the future. Iβm not really good at math and I know that comp sci has a lot of subjects concerning math, on the other hand I feel like Iβm much more of a fit for in sys but I donβt know just how in demand the course is. If anyone could ease my doubts I would definitely have an easier time picking between the two. I would also appreciate if any graduates of the two courses have stories to tell about their experiences with their respective degrees.
Hi all. What is the difference between these two majors? I was looking through the catalog and it seems they share very similar coursework with some slight variations.
I emailed the Information Systems chair and he mentioned that the BSBIS requires coursework from the school of management while the BAIS requires more technical courses.
Is either major more technically difficult than the other? I'm interested in Business Analytics so I'd prefer getting as much exposure to software used in this field. Thanks!
Hello r/ITCareerQuestions community,
I have two competing offers and I'd like some input from the community. I have been working in IT help desk / desktop support for about 2.5 years. And this is really the first time this has come up for me. I have a clearance and my Security Plus
One is a System Admin, 70k, with DOD contractor FTE, 45 min - 1 hr commute
Two is a ISSO( Information Systems Security Officer), 96K with Temp agency for a DOD contractor W2 Contract no conversion, 45min - 1 hr commute.
I do like Sysadmin work, I have never done ISSO work before it doesn't seem that boring too me. I don't know if the contact gig is better due to the money but lack of stability concerning. Any input for from the community with be greatly appreciated.
Hi, everyone. I an a nursing major who just got accepted into nursing school. I should be excited but I am very nervous. I have had a lot of thinking and came to the conclusion that I came to nursing because I knew I had to pick a major and decided on a safe one. Last semester as I was finishing my nursing prerequisites I took an IT course and loved it and was a beginner course with little coding, and we did some Microsoft Office work, built a website that we did all the coding for. But that little class seems to be more my speed.
My thing is I don't know if I could handle the math that comes with CS. I know everyone says that degree opens all doors. But I actually think I might like IT or IS more. I don't even think those classes would interest me or coding all day.
After talking to people they told me IT is a lot of stress. Long hours and people are afraid to use their sick days. This scared me a bit but I do feel like nursing has a stress problem too along with long work days. Is this even the case?
Can anyone tell me which of these degrees would work better in the real world. I don't know too much about IS, although it might be the one for me. But it seems to not get as much attention.
Hey, I'm writing a uni assignment on the critical success factors for raytheons implementation of ERP and E-SCM systems by SAP, was wondering if you guys had any insight you could provide me.
