I’m trying to find it to make a meme out of

Did you ever noticed how most of Edge's best matches have been in matches with stipulations ? There's the Mick Foley match, the Taker rivalry (the WM match is an excpetion), either Hardy matches, Cena in TLC, Eddie in No DQ and even his great recent series against Seth ended in an Hell In A Cell. I think it speaks to his abilities as a wrestler, he's never really been a technical pro-wrestler or anything else bell to bell, capable but never that mind blowing. Also having your first memorable match being a TLC match probably helps too in sticking with that type of match.

He was great at WrestleMania, but just a fact that I can't shake out of my mind.

His promos are next level the sheer intensity, rage, etc that he outs in are crazy. I fully believe in what he's saying and he's so convincing. No one rages and goes as crazy or intense in promos now.

He has the look even at his age he's a lean yet muscle 6:5 225. He has that grizzled look especially with the smoke in his intro.

His character is good now the opportunist who wants what he deserves and fought hard for but has gone to his roots to give those who've been I considerate (daniel bryan) what they deserve.

He's also good in ring for his age, rarely injures people and can still go with his history of injuries. His injury last year was wonky as well and could've happened to most guys.

Overall I feel he's the best active wrestler in the world currently.

Edges fans were called "Th Edge-ed Edgies"

and Test fans were just a bunch of quality balls.

Matthew Justice is a household name now everyone who is super into indy wrestling and watches GCW religiously knows him. He's basically Hogan but more Hardcore.

I'm not talking about promos so bad it ruined the wrestler that made them

I'm talking about promos that utterly destroyed a wrestler's opponent

the first thing that comes to mind is this exchange between Ricochet and Drew McIntyre

Ricochet: "I'm not here to talk-"

McIntyre: "THEN SHUT UP!"

That exchange made Ricochet look like a loser and destroyed any coolness he had.

The Rock had some of the best promos a wrestler could have. Stone Cold was a big stepper when it came to beef with Mr. McMahon.

Shawn Michaels was cool as well. Undertaker and Kane were a good tag team fr. Kane was a ugly mf when he wad unmasked. Still good wrestlers imo. Those are just a few of my favorites.

Btw, remember the WWE ice cream? Those were bussin, the ice cream truck used to have them as well.

What's your thoughts?

Will try to explain it better than I did in the title, but I was wondering if any wrestler ever had a move in their repetorire which, for the most part, was just a 'regular' move that didn't finish the match. However, over the years, whether it be just a sudden development or the move was treated more deadly, it managed to upgrade from a regular or signature move, to a full-on finisher that could finish an opponent.

One example I can think of in this sort of vein is Shawn Michaels, as the Sweet Chin Music was just a regular superkick that might have led into his then-finisher of a Teardrop Suplex. Whereas nowadays the superkick as a finishing move is most synonymous with him.

Are there any other instances of this?

Mines is Cody's "smoking & mirrors" it fits him so damn much and Drew McIntyre's "broken Dreams" I wish they bring that back for him
