A list of puns related to "Earl Winfield Spencer Jr."
Winfield Jr is one of the trickier safeties to grade in this class. The fourth year sophomore is the son of a pro bowl corner but came to Minnesota without much pedigree or fanfare. Despite this he managed to start from day one as a true freshman, before missing the 2017 and 2018 with hamstring and foot injuries. Winfield put on a show in 2019 while staying healthy with an odd 7 picks but just one pass deflection ratio. The man certainly plays to gain possession. Winfield is fairly severely undersized for an NFL safety at 5'9" 203 with 30 1/8" arms. Winfield Jr did put up a 4.45 40, but it was a bit deceptive as it doesn't show on his tape. Winfield Jr is an average athlete by NFL standards and it's not a coincidence he didn't run agility drills. I've seen a lot of people throw Earl Thomas comps on Winfield Jr due to the height/weight/40 combo, but Winfield isn't even remotely close as an athlete and has arms that are over a full inch shorter. That said, the man has truly elite instincts both in the run game and with the football in the air. Not only does he have that, but he has a tremendous first step that helps him get in position to make plays. It's a deadly combo. Winfield Jr does a lot of things well; he takes great angles (both in the run game and with the ball in the air), he has tremendous balance and squares up his tackles, has mastered the peanut punch, studies tape at an NFL level, instincts are elite and his football IQ is off the charts. That should give him a pretty high floor as an NFL player. That said, he has pretty tight hips and if he doesn't take the perfect route, he will have trouble adjusting. This shows up tackling in space and effects his range over the top. His recovery isn't ideal for a single high and would make playing that position at the next level a challenge despite his instincts. The lack of length does show up when he's trying to make plays on the ball and tackling in space. It's also worth noting that we didn't get a chance to see him face anyone remotely resembling an NFL QB last year. He figures to be a high floor, scheme diverse, pro ready day one starter who should provide some solid tools but a slightly limited ceiling; but he has a lot of red flags and the size/injury history combo makes him a lot more risky than a typical player of his profile.
>Three years, $62 million for Spencer Dinwiddie from the Wizards when the dust settles, I'm told.
Earlier from Mayo:
>Hearing the S&T that would land Spencer Dinwiddie in Washington, from Brooklyn, could happen as soon as today/tomorrow. Itβs expected to be a multi-team trade, possibly expanding across 6-8 different franchises (thus the reason things are taking so long)
>Nets free agent Spencer Dinwiddie on Instagram: βWelp, looks like the best FA point guard is ready.β
>I've heard numerous reports about Spencer Dinwiddie being interested in the Clippers this free agency
>The Spencer Dinwiddie interest in returning to an LA team is very real. Have asked around a lot about it this week. Everything @Krisplashed wrote in his article is similar to what I've heard from insiders around the league.
Thatβs the safety that Kupp beat to win us the game!!!! HORNS ALL THE WAY THE FUCK UP!
For years, Tyreek Hill would give the peace sign to DBs he burned.
This past Super Bowl, Antonine Winfield Jr. gave the peace sign back to Tyreek Hill after a failed 4th down conversion on the big stage with millions of people watching.
Is the new taunting rule thatβs being brought in this year an overreaction to what happened in the Super Bowl?
EDIT: I know the taunting penalty has been a thing for awhile, I was bringing up how that something had to cause the reason why there is a lot more emphasis on it this year. I shouldβve worded it better.

> Lauri Markkanen and Kelly Oubre Jr asked for too much money in free agency without the resume to back it up, a league source just told me. The market has cooled significantly on both with most teams out of money.
> Mavs ($15M) & Hornets ($14.5M) among teams w cap space.
> Some conflicting cap numbers Iβve seen for the Mavericks here but the Hornets definitely have $13.5M
Spencer Dinwiddie on the reported Kyrie Irving βepisodeβ in China that βleft everyone scratching their headsβ:
βQuite honestly, I think the head-scratching incident came from front office personnel on the Rockets.β
