A list of puns related to "Driftwood catfish"
Help Columbian driftwood catfish lost both eyes.
I recently noticed my Columbian driftwood catfishes eyes has like a cloudy bubble over them and when I looked through itβs eye had a bit of red (blood) going along the top then yesterday as I was about to put in Melafix I noticed that both of his eyes had gone and itβs been on my mind ever since and Iβm really stressing about it and what I want know is how and why this happened and will he be able to live ok
Today I saw this sickly looking fellow at my local fish shop in a tank by itself. I was given the cat for free due to its condition, as you can see in the photo its fins have been damaged quite severely all that is mostly left are the white spines where its fins used to be.
Since putting it in its new home it has not moved from the substrate. Can anyone here identify what is wrong with this catfish and offer advice on how to help! Really want this fish to pull through, even if his fins will not make a full recovery.

We have one female already and we are looking for about 3 more catfishes in hopes to spawn.
Really want to add super red bristlenose pleco to my tank, but internet says they require driftwood as part of their diet? Is it true they will die without driftwood?
I have quite a few questions, please be gentle on me as I still have plenty to learn. I am asking the below so I can make informed decisions for a tank of happy fish. Will try post a picture in the comments for perspective.
What is in the tank?
Fish
Plants
Other
What are my questions?
Do I have too many fish in the tank? Looking at upgrading to a 120L tank.
Are water changes every two weeks OK if I am doing general maintenance once a week? General maintenance being scrubbing any algea from the walls, doing a quick sweep with the net and changing filters.
I find that the catfish are seriously unbothered by anything, they find a spot and stay still there for what feels like days at a time. I do see them out and about every now and again but they prefer hiding in their hiding spots. Perhaps they are introverted.
Same as above with the Golden Algea Eater, yet the brown ones are SUPER social. Probably the most social in the tank.
Are the two air filters and one air stone substantial for oxygenated water?
Any other recommendations?
Hello!
I kept Bettas almost my entire life, but fell out of love with keeping them after my Betta of almost five years passed away about six years ago. After stumbling into the aquarium side of YouTube, I think I am finally ready to take up the fish banner again!
I am looking to get a tank no larger than ten gallons for my desk, and am particularly interested in SerpaDesign's Blackwater Betta setup. I would preferably not have to do any artsy shaping of foam or anything, because I am awful at that. The hardest part for me seems to be which plants are okay to use, where to find the right kind of driftwood, and whether or not snails are going to crawl up and out of the aquarium/paladarium if it is lidless. I would like to have a tank that is a little taller, so that I can leave an air gap in case the Betta gets jumpy, but also to contain plant growth that I want above the water.
I have toyed around with the idea of a spiderwood "root" system centered around a tilted human skull, for an awesome blackwater "haunted swamp" vibe, but really would like some sort of long Kuhli-like fish and some other catfish-looking fish. From my research, it appears these grow to be too large for a ten gallon, and I think this is a project best left for a bigger tank.
Does anyone have any advice? I love the duckweed look with surface plants and have a local petshop that I would love to support if they have the right plants.
**Edit:**I have a tentative stock list for what I want:
I have a very large Black belt cichlid currently in a 125 gallon tank with only a small Raphael catfish that hides in the driftwood. Him along with my Green Texas in a different tank have seemed to become more shy and I was reading up on some dither fish helping large CA be more comfortable. I think I could do large tetras or silver dollars with the Texas as heβs less aggressive but the black belt will not tolerate any other fish near his size I would think. Would livebearers be a good choice?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Now that I listen to albums, I hardly ever leave the house.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
