A list of puns related to "Drag Race Holland"
Ok I genuinely want to know: how is Vivaldi still there? She survived getting disqualified last week, and now she survived a lip sync against the front runner? I am. Flabbergasted. Never before have I seen such production meddling. I wanna hear yβallβs thoughts.
First of all - I want and need the ENTIRE production-stuff to get changed. We need smb from WOW to be there on set to direct those shenenigans.
We complain about Fred and the judges - but they get all the orders from the story-line producers who are responsible for all those questionable decisions.
What are your ideas?
I have recently started seeing someone and when they found out I was learning Dutch, they wanted to watch Drag Race Holland with me. I've been really enjoying it and I understand about 40% or so of what they're saying at any given time without subtitles. But my friend asked me what the host was saying for her sign off at every episode.
It sounds to me like she's saying "dag ze!" and the subtitles say "bye girl!" but that doesn't quite make sense to me. I have a Dutch student in one of my classes at school, and he was just as confused as I. "Dag ze" would by "bye she," which, as I said, doesn't make sense. He thinks it may be an idiom, but one he's not familiar with (he's certainly not into Dutch drag culture, lol). Is there anyone here that watches the show and can help me out?
What I really dislike about Drag Race Holland is theyβve looking for beauty. I never hear them talk about charism, uniqueness, nerve and talent. Are they confused? Do they think this is Next Top Model or something?
Anybody watching drag race Holland? What did you think about the last elimination? I can't believe that keta minage got eliminated...
Hey y'all, I wanted to start off by apologizing for getting this out so late. I've been swamped with a lot of commitments, and to be honest I didn't even watch the finale. I've run these drafts for every season since All Stars 5, and I'm starting to get a little bit burned out. I'm planning on taking an indefinite break from posting these on reddit, but will be making this final update for Holland, as well as finishing out UK 3.
Also apologies to all the people who got double pinged here, I accidentally posted this when it was only like 25% done, so you might have gotten pinged before I deleted

I measured several different things this season. People who correctly predicted the winner, those who correctly predicted the top 3, and those who correctly predicted the top 6, as well as the people who got multiple of these. Going into the finale, this is
Queens Remaining | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Winner Still in | 60 | 60 | 55 | 54 | 49 | 49 | 45 |
Top 3 Intact | 55 |
Heya everyone! I don't know how many people are still watching but in case if you didn't watch the latest episode DO NOT watch the preview for finale. It spoils the season's miss congeniality!
In Drag Race Espana, all the LSFYL songs were in Spanish, in Drag Race Thailand several songs were in Thai. But in Drag Race Holland, so far all the songs were in English (although two songs came from Dutch singers who sang in English).
I just felt the need to say this because I feel as if this version gets slept on. I LOVED season 1 in a way I wasnβt expecting to. It had occasionally weird editing, but everything still felt natural and entertaining (unlike Down Under which felt stiff and heartless, genuinely the editing was one of the very many things wrong with that show). Envy Peru to me is one of the most powerful winners in Drag Race history not to mention the most beautiful! I live for all of the queens on the first season. They also always kill it with the promo as well. They live up to what Drag Race is, but make it there own. Even if itβs in a different language it still feels just like Drag Race which I find some international seasons didnβt (again for me Down Under felt like an imitation of Drag Race? idk).
Season 2, without spoiling, is off to a great start, it has a great cast and a great first episode. Idk I just am so interested in the culture in the Netherlands and I love the language. I still need to watch EspaΓ±a and Canada! Iβve been slacking! I encourage you all to give it a chance if you havenβt yet!
Drag Race Holland season 1 has been nominated for the biggest Dutch TV award called the "Gouden Televizier Ring". It's a award voted by the public and a big deal in the Netherlands.
DRH s1 made it to the final 25 shows and now the voting has opened to decide the final 3 nominees who will be celebrated on the night of the awards. It's a big thing for a show with so many queer people and for a show from a streaming service to get this far in our little country. Our S1 queens really deserve another spotlight, especially as season 2 is airing as well. So your votes really help! And you're able to vote abroad...

As a reminder I use the typical Dusted or Busted system, where each episode a queen earns 2 points for a win, 1.5 points for top 2 placement, 1 point for a high placement, 0 for safe, -1 for low, and -2 for lipsyncing. You earn triple points for your winner, double points for your finalists, and single points for your players.
A tiebreaker system is in place, based primarily on how often your queens were chosen. If you bet on a black horse in the competition, and have the same score as someone with a draft of fan favorites, you win the tie! The tiebreaker formula takes into account your whole draft and ensures that unless you have the exact same draft as somebody else, you will not have the same score.
Thank you to the 62 entrants!
Apologies for getting this one out so late
First off, let's talk about how the queens were rated for this season. Everybody had one winner, two finalists, and three players. With that, I came up with a rating for each queen. For each winner pick, they got 3 points, each finalist pick, 2 points, and 1 point for each pick as a player.
Here's how they stacked up
Queen | Winner | Finalist | Player | Rating |
---|---|---|---|---|
Vanessa Van Cartier | 35 | 17 | 6 | 145 |
Vivaldi | 8 | 30 | 19 | 103 |
The Countess | 5 | 18 | 24 | 75 |
Love Masisi | 5 | 18 | 23 | 74 |
Keta Minaj | 4 | 11 | 27 | 61 |
My Little Puny | 2 | 16 | 22 | 60 |
Ivy-Elyse | 1 | 7 | 21 | 38 |
Tabitha | 0 | 1 | 23 | 25 |
Juicy Kutoure | 2 | 5 | 9 | 25 |
Reggy B | 0 | 1 | 12 | 14 |
Almost every queen was picked once in each category except for two. Neither Tabitha or Reggy B were selected as a winner pick
As with most of the fantasy drafts I've run, the queens can generally be divided into a few different tiers
