A list of puns related to "Dollar Shave Club"
I'm thinking about getting raycons, partially bc my earbuds are dying and maybe because I'm succumbing to the youtube overlords, are they worth buying? I always assume things that are heavily sponsored are not very good quality, but I haven't actually tried any of them.
edit: thanks for all the responses, this has been a helpful thread! it seems like the goodies are me-undies, stitch fix, nord vpn and surfshark (mostly), and skillshare. controversial picks are honey and dollar shave club. the baddies are raid shadow legends, and definitely raycon lmao
With partnership of the COD legends showmatch, available on GoPuff is a goodie box. The best part about this deal is that it is ONLY $11 DOLLARS. Just ordered and receieved mine- contained:
Value of this box is dumb. Wouldve payed $11 for the jersey alone. Available in multiple sizes. Not sure what areas specifically these are available. Purchased mine in the Chicago northside. GLHF.
The startup is exactly what the title says. I thought about doing something like dollar shave club but with pet stuff. The customer can choose between more subcriptions from the cheapest one that will have the cheapest products all the way up to the most expensive one that will have premium products. What do you honestly think?
It broke in minutes trying to shave. the quality is just garbage. Even though I try to put it back it pops back out with little to no force.
I don't spend all my time browsing the Internet but still I stumble upon some strange and interesting stuff at times. Yesterday, I found this link to an article titled βWhy Donβt Guys Go Naked in the Locker Room Anymore? The Reasons Why Are Surprisingly Complexβ. While it focuses on male nudity in the locker room, I believe it also applies, as much or more, to communal showers. It's not very encouraging...
Here are some excerpts. The entire thing is a pretty quick read so follow the link and check it out.
According to Bryan Dunkelberger, a founding principal of S3 Design, a firm that has worked for an upscale gym, younger generationsβ expectation of privacy is so widespread, itβs starting to influence the design of new gyms. / βYounger generations tend to prefer more privacy in locker rooms,β he tells us. βThis can manifest in private changing areas, private shower compartments or even younger family changing areas.
In the β90s, with the help of the ACLU, mandatory after-gym showering died off. βThese guys donβt want to undress in front of each other,β said John Wrenn, a teacher in suburban Chicago, in a 1996 New York Times article by Dirk Johnson. βI just donβt get it. When I started in β74, nobody even thought about things like this. The whole thing is just hard for me to accept.β
Dr. Millerβs solution for younger generations? Stop categorizing your feelings and lose the shame. βIt would be good for all of us to let go of that self consciousness as we age, since it is one of the critical transformational possibilities in aging,β he says. βTo stop caring about the presentation, about who youβre supposed to be β if one manifestation of that is just walking around naked, thatβs great. But it should also be about opening to what you can talk about, what you can say, what you feel free about.β
βItβll be very interesting to see if that happens as todayβs generation gets old, or if there will even be locker rooms,β he says. βIt goes deeper and deeper. What I see, particularly with men, is that really whatβs wanted is to be in oneβs own world.
