A mall-tease
Whatβs their purpose? (To guard and protect, help you hunt or for emotional support)
Do they stand a chance at survival? (What if another animal attacks it)
What breed would be the best all around dog
Boy or Girl
Prey drive level (High vs Low) Do you want them chasing every squirrel around or relaxed most the time
Intimidation Factor (Scary looking enough to ward off random people vs friendly looking as to not attract attention that youβre guarding resources etc..)
Since Pitnutters like to scream about how Staffies and APBT are different breeds, I was curious what you guys thought on this. In my opinion, they have nearly identical characteristics and aggression, so yes, to me they do fall under Pitbull breed.
We adopted our dog from a rescue centre a week ago. She was born and raised on a puppy farm and when that was raised by the police, she was taken to the rescue centre so she has never lived in a home or had any loving owners. Since adopting her, she has pretty much stayed in her crate the entire time. She will come out to eat her food which is just outside of her crate and she will toilet on her puppy pads when we are not in the room. She turns her away and freezes up if we try to get close to her and she will jump at any loud noise. Last night she woke us up by scratching the carpet loudly and she would only stop when we went downstairs and stayed in the room with her. We are so confused how to handle her. Itβs like sheβs scared of us but also doesnβt want to be alone. Any ideas of what we can do to help encourage her to come out of her crate and to trust us would be really helpful. We get so sad when we walk past her crate and she backs away into the furtherest corner.
Thereβs a specific name for this dog I canβt recall. Theyβre usually very thick hot dogs, all beef (Iβm pretty sure) and rather juicy without being spicy or anything. It wasnβt some different entity like sausage or bratwurst, just a different name for the dog. Help please
Edit: Name likely included a country, also the hot dog was kosher but this dog had a more specific name
