How much do Scott type American Bulldogs cost typically?

So I'm looking to get a pup this month for when my mother gets back from her trip. The breeder is asking 870 delivery included. Is this a typical price to ask for?

Edit: Someone just pointed out to me that where I live wouldn't actually allow Am Bulldogs aren't allowed here where I live since they're classed as pitbulls here.

Watching the doggies play the other night and it struck me that they lack an enforcer who won't stand for the opposition giving shit to their teammates. All the other teams have at least one player who are or can be (when provoked) an enforcer type player.
