A list of puns related to "Devil Doll (Slovenian band)"
It just hit me while reading the new interviews/material regarding the future of Ghost/new album.
I've been listening to Devil Doll since the 90's and TF's voice actually reminded me of the one of Mr Doctor when I listened to Opus back in 2010 and also Infes when that was released. Something about the high notes/"talk-singing" that is present at times.
Fast forward to the podcast he did about horror in music. He mentioned Devil Doll and that he thinks, and I agree 100%, that Devil Doll has made some of the greatest music ever.
In the recent interview/s he mentioned the album being heavy yet not straight through heavy. He also mentions the album having a lot of piano and being on the lighter side.
This, combined with the doom theme and a larger theatrical show made me curious if there will be some sort of Devil Doll element to the album?
Since Devil Doll is heavy yet not really metal heavy. They, or should I say Mr Doctor (who much like TF writes everything himself) use a lot of piano. Everything about Devil Doll, musically at least, is very theatrical and "large" if you get what I'm trying to say. The albums are more like movies than 1-12 songs.
Thoughts?
Check out Devil Doll on youtube. Really, really great music.

For those unfamiliar: Black Devil Doll From Hell is a creation brought to us from the mind & shitty camera of Chester Novell Turner in 1984. It tells the tale of a woman who buys a puppet from an antique store & soon discovers, after only being warned of this roughly four times, that it is a sentient being with designs on raping her.
Let me first say that I am truly, unironically impressed by this film's existence. It's incredible that it got made, then released on video, then released on DVD however many years later. Chester N. Turner was pretty much a one-man crew for this, & while it looks bad it doesn't look as bad as some movies made by more than one dude. Now, that said, this isn't a good movie. 98% of people who manage to find & watch it will be immensely disappointed. It is nearly an hour & a half of a woman just doing mundane things. The part of it that isn't that is the one scene it's known for, which I won't spoil because it must be experienced first-hand.
If you can find it, I'd honestly say that for as poorly made as it is, this movie is must-see for fans of obscure cult film. It exists on a field all its own. I don't know whether it's some kind of masterwork or just impeccably bad.
Hey, greetings from Czech Republic. I was wondering what do slovenians think about slovenian industrial group Laibach. Thank you for the answers and I hope I'll get the chance to visit your beautiful country.
