A list of puns related to "Demographics of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha"
"I quoted two paragraphs from his book in an account I wrote in 1985 and that, I later learned to my great dismay, was my undoing. I had betrayed what was apparently an island secret and for that I would not be forgiven."
Population around 300. About 2000 miles from South America and 1700 miles from Africa

10th October 1961
The ever-jingoistic mother nature has attacked Tritan da Cunha by means of the eruption of Queen Mary's Peak, the volcano of the island. Two ships of the Royal Navy, HMS Blake and HMS Defender, have been despatched to the island to pick rescue all 269 of the inhabitants, who thankfully escaped to nearby Nightingale Island, and transport them back to England. The inhabitants will be given dwellings in an RAF base until they can safely return to their homes.
A fund has been started to pay for the reconstruction of the island's homes after the evacuation ends, with the government promising to match 100% of all private donations to this fund.
Otherwise, I cannot really understand the low reading level apparent in the text.
