Hi everybody. I was wondering if anybody knows of a distribution service that allows you to upload a double album? For example, how Drake dropped Scorpion and the tracks start over at 1 when side 2 starts or how Weezy dropped Funeral Deluxe and the deluxe tracks are listed 1-8 while the regular tracks are start back at one. I go through distrokid right now and worse case scenario I’ll probably just upload as two albums but if anybody knows a service that can do this without having to make it two albums it would be greatly appreciated. So you've decided to start collecting one of the coolest Star Wars action figure lines produced by Kenner or Hasbro. Great! Welcome to the community! Let's talk about how you can make the most of your collector experience by ensuring that you can get your hands on almost all of the figures you want.

So where are you going to go to pick up some of the latest wave of figures? The toy aisle at Walmart, right?

Wrong.

Buying your figures in-store.

One idea that we need to do away with right off the bat is the idea that the best way to get the figures you want is to go hunting store-to-store. If you grew up in the 90s, and early 2000s, during the Power of the Force era and the subsequent Prequels release era, you doubtless have memories of going to your local Walmart, K-Mart, or Ames and picking out all the figures you want and having most of the releases be freely in stock for weeks or months at a time.

Let me say it one more time for the veteran collectors in the back who can't let this idea go.

Star Wars toys have gone from being marketed exclusively towards children to being marketed more toward adult and young adult collectors. Lines like The Black Series stopped being just for kids a long time ago; the amount of people with disposable income looking to get their hands on all of these figures is much higher than it used to be.

Most of the time, stores like Walmart and Target will only get in a few cases of each release. A case is (usually) made up of eight different figures. Therefore, a major retail store will have three or four instances of a figure at most. Considering the sheer volume of people that shop at those stores, it should be no surprise at all that you probably won't be able to get everything you want at a traditional brick-and-mortar.

Yes, that feeling is great when you stumble on a figure you want in the wild. Yes, it's disheartening when you see someone post a picture of an entire wave they picked up at Target. Yes, we all wish we could just run to the store and get what we want. But those aren't the times we live in any more.

So where do I buy from then?

Online! There are multiple retail websites (ones that are often referred to as 'fan channels') that make getting the action figures you want as easy as clicking a mouse. These different sites all have their own unique qualities, as well as their upsides and downsides, and I'm goin

I was considering buying the Civ 6 Digital Deluxe that's on sale right now on Humble Bundle, but was wondering how the DLC is distributed. I already have Civ 6, so I would really want to just buy this for the included DLCs and gift the base game key to a friend.

Does anyone know if the DLCs are distributed as separate keys or if the Digital Deluxe version of Civ 6 is a single Steam key that redeems the base game and the DLCs in one shot?

A Prime Resurgence is upon us…

We first announced that we are looking at running a Prime Vault event of sorts on Devstream 156 - and Prime Resurgence is just that! It is our first stab at offering an alternative to Prime Vault: A one-stop shop to gain access to Vaulted Prime content and Relics with a fully transparent schedule to allow players time to plan.

Varzia, a Dax from the Old War, will appear in Maroo’s Bazaar November 16th on all Platforms with a slew of Prime goods for you to obtain. You can either purchase Relics from her Wares with Aya (free path) or gain instant access to Prime items and bundles with Regal Aya (purchase path).

What are Aya and Regal Aya?

These are the currencies that are used to purchase items from Varzia!

Aya is an earned currency that is your free path to gaining Prime items through the in-game Relic system. It is a resource that is exchanged for Void Relics and other non-premium items available in Varzia’s wares. Aya is found in Missions (The Void or Bounties) or has a chance of appearing in Relic Packs available for purchase in the Market for Platinum or Syndicate Offerings for Standing.

Regal Aya is a premium currency (similar to Platinum, but not tradeable) that gives you instant access to Prime Warframes, Weapons, Accessories, and Bundles available in Varzia’s wares. It can be purchased in the Market or online storefronts.

First, I want to acknowledge that there are choices Hasbro has made in the last few years that feel very anti-consumer. There are absolutely legitimate grievances discussed here, and I agree that it can potentially be productive to voice these concerns. I'll start with some concessions.

1. No, Boba Fett (Throne Room) should not be deluxe. They're clearly taking advantage of the fact that they know we'll buy it anyway. Cobb Vanth is in the gray area, but Boba is hard to reconcile.
2. Highly sought after characters like ARC Trooper Echo should not be retailer exclusives. The anniversary packaging is an acceptable exclusive, but characters that a large portion of the collector base wants should be more readily available.
3. The stretch goals for the Rancor were very disappointing, and the marketing didn't do them any favors. Instead of building optimism, it felt like one escalating disappointment after another. They really didn't play to the strengths of project. The response to their PR statement was way over the top, though. That statement was the most vanilla PR statement imaginable. Anyone with any customer service or PR experience would have written the exact same statement. It acknowledged that we voted with our wallets without criticizing us as consumers but made clear that they simply can't cater to our every whim. This is business 101.

All that being said, I'm getting really burned out by the constant hate train. I think taking a step back and bringing our expectations back in line with reality will help us understand some of their decisions.

1. The first multi-year break in theatrical, feature films just happened to perfectly coincide with an unpredictable pandemic that basically took the world hostage. Part of what we've seen lately is no doubt a product of a post-TROS budget cut, increased material and manufacturing costs, supply chain catastrophe, and spending anxiety from consumers worldwide converging into a perfect storm.
2. The Hasbro team has said multiple times that it takes 12-18 months for a figure to go from conception to consumers. We also know Lucasfilm keeps everything incredibly close to the chest for these Disney+ shows. Yeah, I'm disappointed that we're not getting the BoBF Boba Fett until mid-2022 but that tracks like 18 months after the post-credits tease from Mando Season 2. I think it's really obvious that they're not getting advance art or reference photos for these enormous show reveals. When they DO get stuff early, Lucas
