A list of puns related to "Dean Devlin"
Any Leverage fans I highly suggest binge watching Almost Paradise on IMDB Tv after you finish Redemption. It's a great show and a fun role for Kane.
Dean Devlin shares more about Leverage: Redemption in this interview: 'Leverage: Redemption' EP Dean Devlin Teases More Secrets and a 'Fulfilling' End to the Season (tvinsider.com)
Here is a paraphrase and some quotes from the interview:
Dean noted that Parker is still leading 12 other teams around the world, so she has plenty going on, and with this team and Sophie's return it's like going back to the way it was before and she's enjoying that.
The character grew up in a post-9/11 world and has a different perspective on life than the others, that allows for interesting dynamics as a team.
Dean pointed out that Harry is coming to terms with the reality that he has been helping the bad guys for a long time and is aware that he has a long way to go, with redemption, but also understanding himself and where he might be going in life.
Dean added that Sophie's character is on a path during these 16 episodes not entirely unlike Harry's, where she realizes she is no longer who she used to be, now with Nate gone, and she has changed, so she is also on her own kind of journey to find out who she is going to be moving forward.
They will improve their groove together, but will also encounter some challenges along the way as they find out about their past secrets, like their criminal and immoral pasts, at which point the focus will be on how to keep the family together, considering they were loners in the past.
Dean said there are several hints in the first 8 that will be revisited in the back 8 episodes. He pointed out that it is an episodic show, that we can drop in and watch any episode, but if we do watch all of it from the beginning then we will get a lot of Easter eggs.
Dean said this season won't show them working those previous jobs, but that they will be referenced. We will see Parker on the phone managing other teams, while working cons with this team. We will see another

u/DeanDevlin thank you, and thank you to the cast and crew of Leverage: Redemption!
Very excited to see the show!
Here's the run-through of the interview:
Dean mentioned what has always amazed him about the original show was how much people connected with it. He mentioned how a family approached him while he was in a restaurant in Serbia and told him about how their family would gather once a week to watch the show, and it got them through dark times.
Dean mentioned that while Leverage was on TNT he owned it, the rarity of an independently made scripted show, at the time they were the only ones. After TNT canceled it, they had the ability to move it if they could find another home. Timing was good as IMDB TV started up their free television service, a perfect fit. However, they sold it right when the pandemic hit, so they made 54 hours of TV when many other productions were not being made. They had to be safe, it took more time and money, but they were thankful for being able to keep it going.
John Rogers and Chris Downey, who did the original show, wrote the first two episodes of the new one. Dean spoke positively of how they weaved exposition and back story into the plot, in the middle of an action sequence, instead of stopping the story to do that.
Dean mentioned not worrying about the success or marketability, he takes the point of view of writing it the way he'd want to watch it as a fan, and if he does that then the enthusiasm will be shared. He mentioned they really missed the characters, they missed making the show, and they wanted to reunite.
He added that Amazon tested the first several episodes and it was a success!
Before starting on the show, they had a table read (remote/zoom in this case), and in a matter of seconds all of the actors were the characters again. Completely. Like no time passed. Noah Wyle, new to

Hi Reddit! Dean Devlin here. I'm excited to get to know this community! I will be answering your questions starting at 2 PM ET on December 7.
A little about me: I'm a director, writer, and producer, responsible for such projects as Stargate, Independence Day, Godzilla, The Patriot, and Leverage. I am currently directing Geostorm with Gerard Butler and I am excited to return in several months to discuss that project with you, HOWEVER, today I am here to talk about my latest television show, THE LIBRARIANS (premieres tonight at 8/7 Central on TNT)!
Watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBXQVOOGGc0 I've poured my heart into this for the last year and I can't wait to share it with you.
Victoria has been kind enough to offer her assistance - we're going to answer questions for as long as we can - so fire when ready!
UPDATE:
I've had such a great time talking with you but I need to get ready for The Librarians premiere tonight (on TNT!). Looking forward to hearing what you guys think!
In the meantime you can keep in touch with me at any of the following:
The Sherman Oaks Galleria Mall already made it's mark in pop culture for being mentioned in Frank Zappa's Valley Girl. But I didn't go there because I digg certain song's sweet bass licks, I came because I was the lucky ones who go a ticket (two, actually, but the companion I had in mind backed out, and it was faaaar too late into the evening before I thought of someone else to come with. I honestly wish I could go back in time and asked them to come with.) to Bad Samaritan's early showing with a Q&A with David and Dean. The email said to meet at the theater at 6:30, but people were already lining up before 6. It was a warm crowd, and though tired from the day's work and travel, the enthusiasm was hardly dampened. This is the kind of crowd one wishes to have all the time when seeing a movie -a crowd whom'll cheer, scream, laugh, etc in communal unity.
The movie is fun! Whatever bit of issues I had dragged on for only moments, and didn't drag down the story. The cast is delicious. They're natural together and the dialogue, even exposition bits, feel natural as well. And the cold environments feel like another character in its own way.
Now, yours truly has to do No. 1 frequently. It just so happens during the movie, I had to make golden rain. Just my luck.
Just my luck, indeed.
As I made the bend towards the theater doors in silent, brisk, pace, I see a few figures standing in the dark watching the movie. I thought, "What a bunch of cheep losers. Couldn't get a ticket, so they sulk in the back. Look at short guy. Look at that un-tucked shirt guy. Look at that skinny guy-"
Skinny guy, very tall...
cool silhouette showing a beak nose and deep eye sockets.
I couldn't help myself. Without breaking rhythm of my walk, I love tapped him on the elbow (bony, covered with corduroy-like material, if anyone is curious to know), whispered, "Fun film." and moved on. I swear my peripheral vision caught caught a cocked brow. I also swear I contributed to his slight paranoia of not being able to stay anonymous in public.
The credits weren't even done rolling when the Q&A. I want more panels like what took place in the theater, when the puppet and puppeteer together answering questions. Both Dean and Dave gave great perspectives to the questions.
Some of the things I recall specifically-
-David admitting it was probably for the best he didn't have anyone to go home to at the end of a work day

At the top of the show, Adam rants about his problems with the staff members who smoke right before the podcast starts. He also complains about Dawson spitting all over the entryway, and the latest studies about not needing soap that people are essentially ignoring. Jo Koy is also in studio, and Adam teases him about meeting one of the women he slept with. Adam also talks about the scrawls that update you on sports scores, and how he tries to avoid them but cannot. Before the break, the guys take a couple fan phone calls about inappropriate underage touching, peanut allergies on planes, and the βBlue Lives Matterβ campaign.
Dean Devlin is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about their shared history at North Hollywood High School. But first, Adam takes a call from former NFLer Nate Burleson to complain further about the scores scrolling and ruining the game. Adam and Dean then discuss the differences between movies and films, and Dean hints at some new things to look forward to in the upcoming sequel to the classic βIndependence Dayβ. Later, Dean talks about becoming Al Pacinoβs chauffeur, and Gina begins the news about a local flight that landed early after a fight broke out between passengers. Other stories include updates on Erin Andrewsβ invasion of privacy lawsuit, a porno shot at a local high school, and a historic Springsteen house up for sale. As the show wraps up, the group talks about a sad story involving a young kid who killed his sibling with his fatherβs gun, and Lindsay Lohanβs political aspirations.

We pretty much just watch Dean Devlin shows Leverage and The Librarians over and over again. We looked up Devlin on Wikipedia, and saw he's currently making a show in the Philippines. So he can't also be making the Leverage reboot, can he? Who then is making the reboot if not the original creator?
