A list of puns related to "Dancing Ledge"
Imagine getting full of yourself with LUIGI of all characters and then losing anyway. Get comboed and f-smashed loser
I've been doing pole for about a year and a half. And I am getting SO frustrated.
I can make a handful of cool moves happen, and it feels good. But the thing that is seriously holding me back is inverts. My normal invert is sloppy, I don't have an aerial invert, and I don't have my shoulder mount. I can crunch up, but cant get that last bit of lifting my hips.
Prepare for venting... honestly what the fuck? Who poles for over a year, and can get into positions like broken doll, split jade, half flags, and dragon tails... and STILL has a trash invert? Cause it feels like it must just be me. I love being upside down, I just cant freaking GET upside down. Maybe I'm not built for this. Maybe this isn't my sport.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does persistence actually pay off at some point?
Also, if I persevere here, what strengthening exercises should I do to target my core and back with specific intent to invert better?
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who dropped a comment. I did read them all, and take them all to heart. Honestly, knowing I'm not alone in the struggle makes it easier to take a deep breath and get back on the horse. I'll try some cross training, and also try to chill the fuck out and trust the process. It's much easier to accept where I am when I know I'm not the only one.
Thank you for the support, homies. <3
