As the title says.. I’ve been here several years but I don’t really have a lot of friends especially of the golfing variety. I don’t play much because of that and I’m not great. I score around 100 on 18 currently. Would love to see if anybody out there needs a golf partner especially in the 25-40 age group. I’m 36 myself. Let me know if anyone in this area wants to play a round someday.
I'm nervous that if I live in Destin, my commute over the 98 bridge everyday will be ridiculous, is this the case?
I'm traveling there the 1-4th and would like to get a couple jumps in.

Is it possible to spot small stuff in the bays of the Florida panhandle? (seahorses, nudibranchs, etc.) I'm somewhat new to the area and more familiar with scuba diving in deeper water. I haven't come across much information online about what can be seen while snorkeling in the area.
I've seen some blennies and lots of other neat fish around the dock where I live, but I'd really like to have an idea of what's down there before I spend hours searching the grass beds for seahorses and nudis! I'm happy to do it just for the fish, but could there be more!?
I'm a crummy golfer looking for someone to play with. I'm around a 100-105 scorer. I know I can go alone and be matched with some tourists but it'd be nice to find a consistent person or group to play with. I tried to get in to the game a few years ago but then my son was born and it wasn't practical. I'd like to play 2-3 rounds a month going forward. Sorry if this isn't allowed here.
It looked like a bright yellow shooting star that lasted for almost 30 sec! Was not even sure I would see it, but it was so worth the effort to sit on the beach and try.
I was very worried that I would miss it, but you definitely can't.... It's unmistakable.
After i got home from work Tuesday night, i took my dogs out for a walk around 11:40 pm. I live next to a golf course in Destin, FL. I was star gazing while walking the cart path when to my left i noticed an orange dot glowing and snowy moving to the right. It eventually stopped in its position in the sky and went north and disappeared. Two more did the same thing in perfect sequence of a few seconds behind each other. All just glowed and then disappeared. Looked nothing like the planes or helicopters i usually see. Weird.

Northern Minnesota guy here looking to make the trip to Hula this year. Was wondering if any of you fine folks live in the Destin/Fort Walton area and would be willing to let me ride in with them? I'd be flying to Pensacola Airport the Monday before hula so i could hang out by the ocean for a few days beforehand (never been) and i could probably meet you anywhere in that area! Cash really isn't a problem so anything to compensate would work for me :)
Are any of you regular jumpers in the fort Walton beach/ Destin area of Florida? I will be down there and of January through February and I'm looking to jump on weekends.
